Sobriety culture is getting out of hand. As you correctly stated you weren't an alcoholic. Congratulations on making a healthy choice in your life but the fact remains you could have gone on drinking the way you were for the rest of your life. My point here is that the new wave of sober culture albeit a good thing that people are making healthier choices is causing people to think they have problems when they don't. What you went through is called growing up. It didn't require a video nor did it even require you to share the story with anyone. You didn't have a problem you made a healthy life choice. It is the same as if you gave up sugary cereals because you're not a 12-year-old anymore. Congratulations but shut up you didn't do anything significant.

First time viewer, well done on your progress ,and i enjoyed your honesty and compassion !! I'm over 3 yrs a/f and quit smoking too..alcohol isnt even a thought anymore .. the smoking was plain unhealthy, annoying and expensive and and as it is my 2nd time i know the relief of becoming a non-smoker.. pure bliss! My mind is in a much calmer place.

I am just getting on the journey of sobriety! I took 7 days off and indulged in a small amount on day 8 and felt like it wasn’t even that deep and I wish I had abstained! Back at it again today & happy for it ! God willing I can make it till end of month and beyond ! My goal is to have a much healthier relationship with alcohol - to keep it social ; celebratory and absolutely within reason. I feel like I used it as a crutch for such a while and as a way to cope, hype myself up & survive. It’s like I wasn’t giving myself the option to see that life can be lived without drinking & it doesn’t have to be apart of everything I do/who I am! Thank you for this video man ! I’m really inspired !

@@m3so757 I think if you really want to drop money in a way that's gonna help your music career, spend it working with good beat makers, studios, promotion, almost anything before a high end vintage mic. A mic like that's only gonna help you if you're using it to promote your studio or doing high-level acoustic music like classical or jazz. When you're doing processed modern vocal recording, you can get away with almost any mic. A quality large-diaphragm condenser will get you that studio sound, and you can spend a lot if you want, but it won't get you famous.

Here in Europe, drinking alcohol is the most NORMAL and socially acceptable thing to do, i.e., once you're seated at a restaurant, they offer you "aperitif", then wine with dinner, then "digestif" after dinner, then desert wine. . . . People always ask me, why I DON'T drink. . . I guess for some people, it's almost inconceivable that you don't desire to drink alcohol.

After quitting about 3 years ago ...heard voices...thought they were close neighbors voices....low...voices...would turn hateful and threatening at night.. Couldn't sleep for nearly 7 days...sleep deprived...no beer...nightmares happening while I was wide awake....saw a Dr...Alcohol induced psychosis...took medicine 2 years...voices went away after about a week... 3 months later wanted a beer...had two...no voices....a week later had a couple...voices came back !!...took medicine again ...10 days later...voices went away....went another 3 months...in disbelief that beer brought on the voices in my head...had a couple of beers...no voices...week later 2 more..voices back again...this time took medicine 2 1/2 weeks before voices went away..... Hi nick, I just started with Reaper and Midi and watched your video. Many thanks for this. However I do have a question, when importing a midi file (mode 1), Reaper ask me if I want to import it multi track and since I created 16 tracks with a soundfont player I agree. The problem I see is that the (16) tracks are not mapped on the tracks I created before (as a template) but maps the midi file on 16 new tracks. So I have to add a VST (soundfont) instrument to all 16 new tracks manually. Regards, Aart
