MDM is also how I track (Fontana) and DD, same car white 18’ ZCP with the M exhaust, CF front spoiler. 28k trouble free miles. Been a great car. Considering making the Buttonwillow trip. Thanks for the Video

Good deal. Try a set of Yoko A052 tires for real grip. Also a stiffer adjustable rear swaybar, looks like a fair amount of understeer going on. Put ur phone in the glove box. Two vids now so far with dealing while on track.
@SimplyCarThings3 жыл бұрын
thanks! Yea ran into quite a bit of understeer im assuming mainly from these tires just being heat cycled out. I keep my phone in the cupholder cause I use it for timing or else i'd put it in the glovebox

i have 285/35/20 NITTO NT555 G2’s on my fronts and they are garbage for track/canyon use. can’t take corners as fast as i want bc they lose grip way way before my 305/35/20 R888R rears

nice video , upgrade oil cooler help the temp. But where did you order the 10mm spacer for the rear ?
@SimplyCarThings3 жыл бұрын
i got the spacers from a friend of mine actually. The oil temps were completely stable on track, however the ambient temperature outside caused the tires to overheat very quickly

Could you review shrick s55 cams?
@SimplyCarThings3 жыл бұрын
if i could find a car that has them i’d be down
@MrRoni1234567893 жыл бұрын
That’s a useless mod on the S55 platform. There’s virtually 0 performance gains.
@lighteningbolt63973 жыл бұрын
@@MrRoni123456789 then why would shrick make them? Probably because a race team running an s55 approached them. Using these cams they could hold more torque and power at higher rpm. So I don't think it's useless

@@MrRoni123456789 if no normal person bought them then why'd they make them as an expensive joke? It's for race teams but we can also buy them but their gains are possible as the s55 torque and power does drop at higher rpm

hey man love ur vids, i got an m240i beacause of ur vids when u had a m235i, so question, do you turn the nannies off on track on the m4 or keep dtc and dsc? check out my vid i went to a track yesterday and the video shoiws dtc and dsc turning on constantly i think without them i wouldve died
@SimplyCarThings3 жыл бұрын
sure thing bro! I keep MDM on during the track. MDM is like partial traction, it allows for a little bit of wheel slip but will still cut in to prevent total loss of traction. Eventually I will transition to all the nannies turned off, because doing so will allow you to achieve the quickest lap times
