Any experience with mishimoto rads? Been debating on the two because I know koyo has better quality and fitment, I have auto so I’d need to drop another 100+ on top of the 400 for the koyo rad itself. Do you think a mishimoto would be fine? Or is it really that worth it for the koyo
@Eric_Kinser8 күн бұрын
I personally have no experience with Mishimoto radiators. However I’m sure they are just fine! I just prefer the koyo since It’s what I have the most experience with! You can’t go wrong with one.

I bought a husky version of that compressor in 2006’ made by C&H. Its still running. Plastic line fitting cracked i ordered a new one. Itsloud like yours but a decent choice. Good luck with yours and your adventures , mike

What's the difference between a sealer and a primer? Do you refer to the same thing in the video?
@bodymanbuilder43372 ай бұрын
Sealer can be painted over primer u gotta sand it down. Also sealer is good for these Tri coats as u don't want bleed through

It's a lot of work to do this finish right but there's no better red on ANY production vehicle in the modern age unless you're talking about supercars costing 400,000 dollars or more before customizations.

I’m about to paint a truck with similar two tone tone scheme except it’s red and white. I was hesitant to paint the darker color first but I think doing the red first then the white will make it easier to mask the door jambs. Thanks for this video even though I’m late🤣

Didn't quite catch what color and paint company that you use to match the ruby red. I was told my ruby red edge was a quad color.

Love that color when I first seen it come out" very reminiscent of the old candy apple red" back in the day chroma base , dust the metallic " no tiger stripe , lite first candy coat , flash" slightly wetter 2nd ,for coverage , the same for the third where some will hammer it" the same for 2,3 coats of clear" last coat wet" looks so good " no wet sand / buff when lucky non customer cars , ( whole sale rides ) no lumpy metallic, definitely have to take your time and finesse that color " great job " rad guns help to make all the difference and a good booth and lighting love to do my tacoma instead of Barcelona

Hi, would you answer a question please? I am going to do a full respray on the panels of a Spy Racing quad, would a bright aluminium base coat make any difference to the final color instead of using a grey base coat please? Thanks.

Nice man, I did the same thing. I had to redo this several times before i finally swapped to green house plastic. I originally used the lowes type also. It broke down and deteriorated very fast. Im down in dalton. Do you mix paint? I need a new source. My local vendor quit making paint. Thx

I am having a bit of a problem with this paint. I am trying to fix a small dent in the front bumper. When I spay it on it comes out so light you can't see it and when I finally get enough paint on the bumper it looks almost black. I am using a small airbrush to apply the paint. Do I need a larger gun? or is there something else I am missing?

Awesome video man. Looks amazing 👍 I've been working in a couple body shops for 10 years now and I'm finally getting into spraying. I have a QAB Nissan Altima to spray the front edge of the door and blend into the fender. I'm new to spraying Water borne and the drop coat or control coat as compared to solvent base (which I also haven't sprayed a lot of but I did about 75 hours of paint work in one week). Also what guns are you using and what pressures are you spraying at?

I’m going to give you a tip I’ve learned and tried/trued and I’m not messing around or jerking your chain….use dch3095 hardener in your dc2000 clear….flows and looks like dc4000, but sets up and bakes fast like dc2000…nicer and faster jobs in and out of the booth, give it a try

The rag you wiped the car down with before spraying, is it a waxy type bandage material by any chance. Im about too do some spraying myself and I have a few of them around was just wondering if this is what you used all the best
@Eric_Kinser2 жыл бұрын
It’s not waxy per say, it’s a tacky cloth that is similar to a bandage material but it doesn’t leave any residue or anything behind, it’s Called a tag cloth, or tack rag, whichever you prefer!
