Whats the benefit of cross body curls? Does it hit certain muscles differently than curling straight in front of you with hammer or regular curls

My left shoulder was hurting when I did the palms facing out position, so I tried this and it feels so much better! What’s wrong with my shoulder that could make it feel better this way?

Sorry, but this entirely misses the point. The key to SuperSlow is to train to momentary failure. Drew Bayes points out that this involves digging far deeper than most people realise. You continue your reps till you literally can't move another inch, and then you pause for a few seconds at the sticking point and try to move a little more before you finally give up. This makes the sessions extremely demanding both physically and mentally - which is why they are typically only 20-30 minutes long and restricted to once or twice a week. Any more will lead to overtraining. In return you get a safe and highly time-efficient route to strength and hypertrophy.

I don't have plates heavier than 25 lbs., so I bolted some together with pipe nipples and caps. Works great for this exercise, especially with the smaller diameter plates.

You’re not “looking for 4-6 reps” - you’re looking for momentary musclular FAILURE. The body can’t count! (Momentary muscular failure is why this type of high intensity training is usually done on machines.)

I am a gym lover & I am very fond of peanut butter. It gives me protein and also compensates for my energy level. So I always search for peanut butter which fulfills all the essential nutrients but most peanut kinds of butter are loaded with Palm Oil and toxic stuff. But when I taste this Alpino Peanut butter, it is so natural. No preservatives and sweetened added to this. 100% natural taste. And also it's easy to use with some bread and spread over it and eat this and enjoy low-calorie food. It is perfect for gym lovers as well as every person. Because it contains all nutrients. It has a creamy, a bit liquid form yet it is very yummy and tasty.

OMG, I do this while walking 128 steps. First is uthishta hasthasana, then this, then behind the neck clasp and then elephant trunk (sliding one elbow into another) for both sides. Total 5 in a set and five sets. 128x5x5 equals 3200 steps. Sometimes I also do Indian squat for a minute. Stretches all the body. I'm 72 and feel the energy.

In a gym class situation, not everyone can jump shuffle side to side. Which then in turn is impossible to just low impact side to side.

I feel it sooooo much in my triceps- what am I doing so wrong?
@Stephan5916
@Stephan5916 3 ай бұрын
@rxp3972 Hi, you probably have figured this out by now. You ain't doing anything wrong because you have to create enough tension throughout your body to do any exercise properly. When you place your Hands in the same position just like in this vid. There would be more engagement in your Triceps because of the angle of your Arms. If you was to rotate your Hands by 180 degree (where your Palms are facing towards your Glutes). There would be more engagement in your Biceps because of the different rotational placement of your Arms.

SuperSlow used to be trademarked; now anyone can use the term. "Real" SS subjects train to failure. To do so on a back-squat, w/o a rack pinned in bottom position, is a potential crippler.
