Excellent video with good tips. Be careful to avoid "upspeak": rising intonation at the end of a sentence. Upspeak makes every statement sound like a question and undermines the impact of each statement.

I am 70 years old, and I deep clean my 2200 square foot home very 7 weeks. And I wash the inside and exterior windows every 7 weeks. If you stay active, you will live a longer life. I also take everything out of the garage and wash my epoxy floor. You guess it every 7 weeks.

I would love to see you do a video on growing a successful herb garden that you use for drying, cooking storing over time. Since you're an avid gardener, a video that shows ones that are easiest to both grow and use successfully. I feel like every year I've tried to grow there's more herbs that are fails than not. Thank you, Ashley!

~Fabulous, fabulous tips! Adding charm and personality, to your home is minimal in cost regardless of size! You only left out 1 tip! Put the GARBAGE CANS out of SIGHT & hoses! Making your home more welcoming even for yourself, you cannot go wrong! It will be a contagious factor for the entire neighborhood! Not to mention a real sense of pride! People need to quit complaining about the size of the homes which does not matter, and just get out there and do it! Some of the most fun yards, are small cottages, or smaller size footprints! Otherwise, a very lovely and thoughtful video, with great examples! It was a little early, but I did my porch last week. Spring fever! P.S. Last fall, (Oct) I stopped by the nursery, for ($6) because the plants were about on they're last moments, I got 4 flowering cabbage and 2 packs of pansy's. Best 6 bux I ever spent! They were beautiful & lasted until last week. I had never grown the cabbage plants before, either!

Just a quick clarification. You are showing a gaura plant, not a salvia. 😊

Wow! I just came across your account and I'm so in love with your beautiful home. Every detail is so incredibly curated and intentional. May I ask, what the small green plants lining your walkway in the beginning of the video are at 0:31? I am looking for something similar and think those are beautiful.
@ashleychilders9 күн бұрын
First of all, thank you so much for your kind words❤️ And the plants lining our front walkway are boxwoods. We planted them about a year and a half ago so eventually they’ll all grow together and be one beautiful evergreen hedge!

@ashleychilders10 күн бұрын
I love adding charm to your entry with a pretty wreath, potted plants and a nice doormat! Those tips are great no matter the size of your home. We live in Arkansas, so we have pink azaleas, boxwoods, roses, and tons of hydrangeas in our flowerbeds. For my potted plants a few of my favorites are petunias, guara, verbena, salvia, euphorbia and impatiens 💕
