If I recall correctly the reason deep jungle wasn't included in CoM was because of some sort of legal/copyright issue expiring around the time that game was being developed. I might be wrong but that's what I remember reading a few years back.

Yeah, I believe that only some of Tarzan's stories are in the public domain, and at the time of KH1 and COM I believe NONE of them were!

Its very possible to beat Feral Chaos with the Lvl 1 Lightning for the Duodecim the moogle says nothing IIRC abnd then the game continues as normal I spent about 200+ hours on Dissidia PSP and 564 hours on Duodecim the Feral Chaos as a playable character was really fun and the labyrinth mode is really good I also played a fair bit of Dissidia NT still play it now and then its a arcade port with hardly any modes which is a shame and the 3vs 3 is hard to get used too

I remember when my girlfriend at the time showed me Kingdom Hearts and said it's amazing. I looked at her, and I remember saying something along the lines of "looks a little gay." it was nearly 20 years ago, give me a break😂 anyways When she went to bed, I was like "I'm gonna try it. It can't be that good, she'll never know". I was still playing it in the morning😂 It's not my favourite or in my top 5 but it is definitely a phenomenal franchise

For as much as you joke about cheesing CoM with Lethal Frame and Sonic Blade, now I know how to beat this game. I also now realized why having a deck full of pretty much only premium cards while saving CP is heavily handicaping me from being able to beat Jafar.

Video definitely deserves my like. Dang, that is a herculean task! There's still much more to go to, but I'm glad you are going into as much depth as you did! Re:Com gets a lot of hate, but it's one of my favorite games in the series due to the deck building customization. There's such a huge repertoire of ways to make a deck in it. Thank you for your service in tracking down PlanitB for an interview too! Definitely a childhood favorite!

Something I noticed with Oblivion, save before haggling. If they don't like your offer or decline it enough times, it drops your disposition towards them, lowering the best haggling price you can get with them and would have to reload or comeback later to do the minigame again. For the Skyrim menus working best for a controller thing: 1- Hotkeys can be easier than moving the mouse if that's too much for you while the game is paused; 2- Unless older models don't support it, PCs do often have console controller compatibility with the game, so you can get the benefits of having a computer with better performance than a console and much more versatility in gameplay, and still use a controller for games where you prefer a controller over mouse and keyboard. I like consoles, but PC has many pros. I don't use Mac to know how well they handle controllers and all and may have issues with games being available to be played on them, I know iOS has the game restrictions because of the language used.

no matter how good the retrosperspective is once KH4 arrives and introduce a new mechanic that changes everything it'll make shot harder to grasp Like every KH main release had done.
@Niosai20 сағат бұрын
Every main release has a new mechanic or twist but I think that definitely gives the series character :)
@joseroa524319 сағат бұрын
@@Niosai problem is that regal KH main titles tries to use all of them at the same time while adding more stuff. KH3 biggest issue is that is much more clustered and feel more restricted. I'd miss power form and magic form.

Why do most of the bad guys who are original like organization 13, ansem, and xehnorat sound like they are saying poetry in a Shakespearen play or just saying epic stuff like it’s gonna be their final battle even when it isn’t like most things xehnorat says in birth by sleep

Magic is quite great in KH1, I replayed KHFM recently and was quite surprised at how useful Gravity can be and how often I ended up using it. Shielded heartless like Fat Bandits and Defenders often goes down quite quickly to a Gravity→Thunder combo or just Gravity then walking behind them to swing a few times, the mummy-like Wight Knight loses their ability to do highjumps if hit with Gravity, Search Ghosts drops many HP orbs if you land Gravity on them, the Pirate Ships immediately loses their mast and thus several attacks if hit with Gravity, several chests in Hollow Bastion are only available using it, and several more stuff. Aero is known to be quite broken once upgraded, Thunder is a great way to hit your surroundings all at once, Blizzard is a staple way to do damage, Fire has a slight homing property and is cheap to use, it's Final Mix so Leaf Bracer is available, thus turning Cure from a way to extend your survivability into a limited invincibility, and while I don't use much Stop, Donald used it enough to turn the Wizards into easy pickings. Now I'm starting to wonder if KH2 will feel as good if I mixed in more magic than I did in previous playthroughs

I remember playing raging blast and immediately dropping it because of how they butchered the tournament mode. That was my favorite mode in the original BT series and I was really disappointed with what they did with it. I never played RB2 though, might give it a shot someday

Fun Fact: In Kingdom Hearts I, whenever you fight against the Darkside, you can actually attack the face of you jump on his arm and walk/jump to the face. Every full combo will add two tech points, probably as a reward for thinking outside the box in order to attack the Darkside. Also, the first half of the Destiny Islands Riku fight is easy to manipulate. He only does his jumpkick attack after 4 hits. Therefore, hit him three times, hit him once more *WITHOUT* it being part of a combo, and move away from his telegraphed jumpkick. Sephiroth notably follows this rule as well with his Dark Firaga Pillar.

There is no way you will read this, but i just wanted to point out that this is a great retrospective of the first 2 games in the series. The onky major criticism i have is the title seems a bit misleading. I thought i was in for the entire series in this video, and when i got 45 minutes in and you were still covering the first game i went to the description to confirm that it is indeed just the first part. Now let me be clear, i am ecstatic that you are diving so deep into the series and giving every game the tine it really deserves, i just with i had known ahead of time that it was indeed part 1 is all. Once again great video and i will be watching out for the rest of them.

You technically get both Keychains and Keyblades. KH2 you get another Keyblade with its own Keychain that he can also swap around. Hence Kingdom Key + Star Seeker and Oathkeeper + Oblivion. So saying it either way will always be correct.
@AlaskanhomegrowncannabisКүн бұрын
You can only attack Rufus while he’s reloading. He’s slick he does it fast but if he’s not reloading he just counters you. Magic attack don’t work either they do on his dog though. I usually just try to stay close enough to him and dodge his attacks til he reloads and hit him with focus thrust. Once you hit him he crumples he’s not a battle hardened guy and can’t take the pain or something so he usually staggers once you get him with a good focus thrust and you can go ham on him. Also he’s connected to his dog so attacking tf out his dog will stagger him too. When his dog comes down or in remake when he starts the fight with him I just handle the dog first no matter what.
