My 2014 cx5 has the same powder corrosion. And the battery is randomly dying It's mainly all along the hold down strap. I'm wondering if the corrosion is causing the batteries to fail. I also have a CRV and it doesn't do this and the batteries last 8 years on that.

I recommend trying some silicone lubricant spray to help prevent the weather stripping from freezing to the tailgate. I've used it on my door seals (applied with a micro fiber cloth) and it prevented my doors from freezing shut in NJ.

Had my car serviced, tires rotated, etc. As soon as I left the service place tire pressure light went on. Went back to service place. They checked tire pressure. It was fine on all 4. They said it was probably a faulty sensor and also said there was no way to turn the light off. I went home, looked at your video and was immediately able to turn the light off…thanks to you!!! Amazing that the business I went to didn’t know how to do this.

I've seen some videos that say run the heater for 10 mins to dry the evaporator then turn AC on and spray? Is that accurate

I noticed that the one you replaced has a white dot on the top, while the new doesn't have it and it shows a small open hole. Do you know if the white dot serves any purpose on the sensor. If I'm not mistaking, the new one is from Duralast.
