I played Dark souls 1 on release. I also played Demon's Souls on release which at the time i thought was better. I originally hated the poise mechanic in ds1.

Dark and Demons souls were my favorite games. I met a pretty good friend co oping and we still talk to this day.

Coming to this video from having only just finished DS1 for the first time, it's insane how broken and grindy is used to be! Thank god I came in time for the remastered version, I would not have patience for the grind and the back and forths. As it is now, it is a masterpiece, but this looks like a nightmare

im still waiting for a souls game where armor is doubled. vitality not only gives you +1 equipload but like 2+ and every 5 you get +3 or something. and you also get +10hp per vitality. when you hit 20 endurance you get +1 per level. lets keep that going with +2. more souls more points aaaaanndddd yeah :) hm hmhmp hmph hmph hmph... :)))) elden ring needs a mod like this and ill replay it before the decades up. someone hmu with a simple vanilla mod like that. also slow down boss/enemy attacks by 25-50% and ill PAY you 1.99$

Idk if it was a day one patch or what but at some point the audio for the looking glass knight could not be adjusted. Just one specific move was always 100% Much worse than a scream jumpscare imo

You can also fight the four kings early, you get the ring from Sif and it's the only one of the four great souls that isn't cut off by the lordvessel. You just need to kill the red guy in New Londo and get the key.

Demon’s Souls remake was my first game. I rage quit and returned it to GameStop , only to buy it back again the next day! I got good, and I have been hooked on SoulsBorne games ever since.

Host could heal phantoms by using estus and phantoms could not use estus. I still miss this system.

I've only ever played on 360 unconnected, so it is very likely I've played like this. I knew it was "unpatched", with stacking curses limited shops and the like, but some of these things don't seem familiar to me. Guess I'll have to test the dragon head soul glitch at the very least.
