Can You Beat DARK SOULS 1 with Weapons in Alphabetical Order?

In this installment of my ongoing challenge run series, I decide to add some order into the organized chaos I call my videos by learning the alphabet Dark Souls style. The premise of this video is that I must defeat every boss with a weapon in alphabetical order. An example of this being I would kill a boss with a weapon starting with the letter A, then letter B for the next boss, and so on and so forth. What's the worst that could happen?

Okay I legitimately had just completed this challenge on my own time for shits and giggles not even two days ago because I hadn't seen someone do this, I gotta see how you went about it. The only letter I had an issue for was "Y" because as far as I'm aware, there aren't any. So as a joke, I rushed into Gwyndolin's fight just to get the message "You Died" and move on to Giantdad Zweihander vs Gwyn.

@@MrMetagross I have just run through DS3 with the same rule set, absolutely recommend trying it for content. Only letters that raise problems are A (Unlike Asylum Demon, there is no glitching past Gundyr because you need the Coiled Sword), J (There are no J weapons, shields or spell. Barring punching someone to death while dressed as a Jailer, this is the biggest conundrum. You can either go punchy punchy as a jailer, or you can cop out and pick up the Follower Javelin, since Follower is the type an enemy and Javelin is the weapon. I javelin'd Oceirus to death for the cop out), and of course X. I just opted to use the Executioner Greatsword as a close second to the letter with the Xanthous set on, fighting Gael with it. Fair warning, you have no choice BUT to use the Notched Whip again for N. That was by far the worst time during this run.

For ‘T’ you could have alternatively used the thorns set, which inflicts a very small amount of damage when rolling into an enemy.

19:22 For the letter S you would have had access to the Silver Knight weaponary. The spear of which just so happens to deal divine damage, meaning you wouldn't have had to worry about the skeletons at all. The sword doesn't deal the effect though, don't ask me why. Though for that it can be buffed unlike the spear

Funnily enough Catalysts do decent damage if you use the bonk attack instead of spells, coulda used the Tin Banishment Catalyst for T for example. Refer to Lemon's Catalyst Only Run.

You took the words out of my mouth. A lot of DS creators irritate the hell out of me with their melodrama and terrible audio editing. There's a few creators that I ended up abandoning purely because the music they edited into their videos were EXTREMELY loud because nobody seems to understand that you need to turn music audio down to AT LEAST 60% volume when video editing for it not to blast peoples' speakers. This though? Nice subtle music in the background, no sudden audio blasts. It's smooth and pleasant. :)

so i did my version of this run, different path, obviously have to use weapons, spells and armor corresponding to the letter. If there is no armor or weapon just eliminate the boss naked. i kept rings independent of the letter rule. exemp i used knight shield to kill asylum demon, target shield to kill bed of chaos, punched ceaseless in xanthous armor and made taurus demon jump off the cliff. Now challenge, ng or ng+ from z to a. this one is slightly more challenging i believe.

Maaye next time you can match the letter to the boss… Capra Demon, C Weapon, Sif S weapon…. Etc. or maybe you have to use the same type of weapon or magic. If they use a sword, so do you, if they have no weapon, neither do you… etc. Those could be fun and really challenging!

For gwyn you could just drink estus and parry after that , punishment for estus after parry is slow slash which is easiest move to parry and repeat

4:48 no, you're right. The chainmail armor does actually look really decent on female characters. I wish there was as decent fashionsouls in Elden Ring as even DS1 for female characters, because almost every piece of armor, even most basic cloth armors, don't have female variants.
