I’m starting with Ys Origin it sounds the most interesting. Although technically I did play a bit of Ys on the Master System when I was a kid in 1995.

Still waiting on a full spoiler review of this one. Really interested to hear what you think on some of the decisions they made with the story (both in Kuro 2 as well as the implications on the series), the pacing, new characters etc

Yea I don't know. It's not bad but the world is so small compared to 8 and it's way to easy. The entire game feels like one big bulletin board with fetch quests, it's a massive drop in quality and it has a much smaller budget.
