ive had this for 4 years and its an absolute shit can, waste of $2800, its had 6 graphics card and 6 motherboard replacements, it overheats and shutdowns every hour, have to underclock to counteract this, even underclocked it can still overheat and every 30-60 mins i get fps drops from 140 to 20

I brought this midrange gaming laptop in2024 ²nd hand it was priced at £280 I asked for £20 off and got it for £260 brought it for steam gaming mainly. I cancelled my subscription to Xbox gamepass ultimate today it was due for renewal today luckily I was in time to not be charged reoccurring subscription. Soon ill migrate to steam where all the games I want are and where I do not have to pay a subscription to play online multiplayer. I can't lie since getting this laptop even though I haven't even set it up yet, I have negative feelings towards my Xbox series s now just because of my new laptops gaming power and how I can game without xbox charging a monthly fee to do what should be free. I'm totally out now dudes and dudettes don't pay to play online either Xbox or playstation Ur throwing Ur money away spend that instead on food or give it to charity don't give to the corporations who took something as simple as nes console and morphed it into a something where now U have to keep paying a subscription not me.

Oh look they added dual channel ram slots lol , I wish they would have thought of that in the first place. Oh well The L340 was Lenovo's first gaming laptop so I guess I could understand the single channel ram slot I was forced to stick with.

I love it too got it two weeks ago , however what I don't like is being forced to use single channel memory performance no soldered on ram and just one 16gb stick. The L340 is unique in this regard. Which geek bench did you feature geek bench 5 and 6 don't come no where near those scores lol.

Don't know if you know this or not but you could easily buy a cheap dummy display for $5 to $10 dollars. These emulate 120hz if you buy the right fake monitor (dummy display hdmi plug) when you get one of these, go to windows display options, pick the fake monitor and change to 120hz.

Yeah, 10th gen and gtx 1650ti weren't the main upgrades. The main upgrade was the newer design with the new keyboard with full arrow keys, the newer cooling system and the dual channel ram. Dual channel ram is a big deal. The 10th gen processors are basically the 9th gen ones, but slightly OC'd. However they don't have undervolting unlocked from the start. Also, the gtx 1650ti is not much faster than a gtx 1650.

I am facing this issue from day one do not know if is it some driver issue or battery!! I can hardly use my laptop for 45min to 1hour max and with battery saver mode on max is 1.30 hour, @ home its fine but if I take laptop outside with out continuous power source its really not a good companion, may be GPU is so powerful that it drains all of battery. But when it comes to performance its awesome no doubt about that. But battery wise I would rate 2.5/10 really frustrating sometimes. Especially when you have important meeting and power cut at same time

Sorry I'm a little confused. If all this does is lower clock speed to improve temps, then wouldn't it just be better overall to undervolt and keep the same clock speed, it also achieves lower temps and even increases battery life.

Hi I have the Asus TUF A15 (Ryzen 4800H + RTX 2060) I updated the 2 drivers but all i'm seeing is the RTX 2060 graphic driver settings for the RTX but not Ryzen Graphic settings although the processor is Ryzen 7 it the both should be showing up right??? the both of them should be showing up Right I don't know only the Nvidia showing up in the dropdown bar
