Say what you want about bayverse Transformers, but the audio team was spectacular for these movies. The metallic sounds as they’re beating the crap out of each other, the gunshots, the environment getting absolutely torn to shreds. It all just culminates into a cool movie, despite its many flaws. And as a kid, that’s all Transformers needed to be. The score for the entire trilogy was just so memorable too. Some of Steve Jablonsky’s best work, if not his best. Definitely one of my top 5 favourite soundtracks alongside Halo’s OST and a few others.

Seriously, this scene alone destroys all the action pieces of Rise of the Beasts. There’s is no deny that ROTF has some terrible flows, but no one must ever deny again that Michael Bay was an absolute maestro with the robots’ fights. The camera moves, the choreography, the real explosions and trees, and a shit tone of small details provided by ILM, all what makes this scene eternally rewatchable and emotional. And you know what ? Bay did it with a random forest while ROTB had to go to Machupichu just to film a flat, boring fight between a eagle and a gorilla.

As far as the plot of the movie is concerned, I understand why Bumble Bee and Optimus split up, but it wouldn't make sense in reality. Bumble bee would have been able to save Prime b4 megatron killed him, preventing the fallen from rising altogether.

As much as Revenge of The Fallen may be the weakest movie of the original Bayverse Trilogy I can’t lie this scene was badass. Especially after Optimus gets his arse kicked and still gets back up and takes on all three of the Decepticon. Megatron: “Is The future of our race not worth a single human life?” Optimus: “You’ll never stop at one, I’ll take you all on!” Badass music and battle scene resumes. This movie also has my favourite og bayverse trilogy Megatron design. Also I love that Megatron says “You’re So weak” After literally stabbing him in the back and just having his Metal arse handed to him, one of his soldiers killed and the other wounded/dismembered. Plus Prime took on Megatron all by himself whereas Megs called in back up. Even then Optimus took on all of them alone. This is why Prime is my favourite Autobot. Xx
