Disney is all about inclusion but not when it comes to stuff like this. The ones that truly qualify are getting screwed over. My son has ADHD and I did the call with him, and the “health professional” 😒 was all well unfortunately you do not qualify for the DAS. Meanwhile my son has had it ever since he was six. I tried to explain it more to the cast member, and how my son was crying saying “we won’t go to Disney anymore.” The dude just straight up didn’t care and hung up that’s the customer service they provide. We used to be patient Disney fans but crap like this is disgusting. I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Not to mention their “solution” is to have disabled guests go up to a cast member and disclose the nature of their disability and their support needs EVERY SINGLE RIDE OR QUEUE. Talk about dehumanizing and exhausting.

So what is going to happen with the Make A Wish kids who many chose a Disney trip for their wish? Yes, this is discrimination against the disabled and I don't know if ADA will do anything about this. But it shows who Disney has become. In the girl with paraplegia it says her Mom also ate the food with her. I know Covid affected their bottom line and Disney is about money. In 2021, Disneyland rides kept stopping and things like Ariels ride had a lot of broken animatronics. But the disabled are the most discriminated people there are. I mean, if you are on SSI, you cannot even marry unless it is another disabled person. And if you use Medicaid at all over the age of 55. The state gets all of your belongings when you die. Look it up. So if you are born with an expensive condition where your meds cost $30,000 a month. Your family gets nothing of yours when you pass away. Or cancer. It is only going to get worse for the disabled. Donald Trump told his Nephew to let his son just die who has a seizure disorder and them promptly removed their family off the Trump health insurance plan.

These Vloggers are always at least 6-8 months behind when it comes to cameras. The Pocket series has been out for years and it took them forever to take notice. I’m waiting when they “ Discover” the DJI Neo and start using that until they find out they have to have a part 107 license to use drone footage for monetized purposes. But anyway, very nice camera sir!

We were there when this one happened. We took a Minnie Van over to MK while the wifes cousin and his wife took the bus from Saratogoa over. The four bloggers were on their bus and said that they were obnoxious as hell. We got to the park in time to see them getting escorted out of Tommoroland. If anyone ever needed to have his ass whooped it would be this crew. The other would be Jack....I still think we need to get rid of warning labels

When on the train (inside) the sound was clear and crisp. Soon as it switched to you outside the station it wasn’t as clear. Try outside with your mini mic and see if you can hear a difference maybe ??

Not only do Disney hate disabled, they are making the queues etc a dangerous place for disabled guests to be. Telling disabled people to have someone in their party stand in the queue and then the disabled person rejoin them nearer the ride entrance. Let me tell you how that went, i was swore at, i had a human chain formed by families that were sick if what they felt was queue jumping. , i was physically pushed and tripped. It was terrifying, if this is the new Disney way then they need signs in the queues educating guests that people may need to come past them due to the changes in the DAS programme. Not allow guest to traumatise other guests because they dont know any better. This was my last time going to a disney park, i had a 14 day pass and used 3 days and never went back. I effectively lost £2000 because we could not make the new DAS provisions work for us. We did try but paying extra for lightening lanes was an unaffordable option that was offered and traumatising my family and as also not an option.

If they decide to take away our ability to use an ECV, so many would be forced to never go back. I in particular would not renew annual pass, D23, & sell my DVC. I am disabled and need ECV assistance to get around. Disney has been one place I’m able to go because everything from my room, bus, and ride lines are handicapped accessible. Once they take away ECVs in the park to make room for other able bodied customers … I think a lot of disabled folks are done with this place. I know I will find someplace else to spend my money & time. ✌🏻

How did they've hated disabled people for Disney and how did they've stopped the Disability Access Service instead sometimes they can Queue inside the Attractions during is Meltdown that who has Autism or Down Syndrome and other Disabilities have to joined to Queue the rides like everybody Else is definitely not True, But who's idea is it to End Disney's Disability Access Service? I don't think so. Please do not end it, or it gets really mad about Were Cast Members forced people with Disabilities have to Queue The Attractions like Everybody Else or just days without the Attractions they've don't have Queue and That pass has been Denied! Come On! Don't Denied it just Undenied it the Pass, That's a Lie you've got to Love the Disabled People to bring it Back the Disability Access Service without Video Chat just is to Register it to Each Disabled Guests of Walt Disney World must do it! Just like Disneyland Paris, they've been doing this probably. Please Do not End the Disabled access Pass for this special place, It Must be Keep going! And they've will must do it or else and Don't you Dare to Deny it! OK!!!

I think they don't want anyone with a disability to be part of the things they do and they also think that person or people are slow like a snail to get from one place to another to enjoy all of their theme parks. Should we continue going there or don't give them anything for the way they see others?🤔❓😁😞😱💯

My experience at Disneyland in April 2024 was extremely different from my WDW experiences. I stopped going to the queuing areas in my wheelchair because so many attractions, especially the older ones like in Fantasyland, don’t have ADA compliant queuing areas. Ignore the queues being too narrow for standard width wheelchairs, they still have turnstiles in them! They sent people using wheelchairs directly to the exit which ends up being true line skipping. I’m fully able bodied beyond not having the stamina to stand or walk for long so I use a wheelchair to accommodate that. I didn’t need a complete line skipping level of accommodation so we parked my wheelchair first and I stood in the standby line. We bought genie+ and were in the park at opening so I didn’t need any accommodations for my psychological issues such as being on the autism spectrum. I don’t know if they still do it this way. I would have guessed they would give you a return time based on the current standby wait but whenever they saw me in my wheelchair they MADE me skip the line.

I'm 70% disabled vet with surgical implants in my leg. Had DAS for years and now it's gone. I was told during my last interview that DAS was reformed because too many people were 'abusing' DAS. Well my solution is allow people to sign a HIPAA waiver to allow staff to confirm the disability. I know many disabled persons out there will have no problem allowing a rep to see actual documentation. If I don't have to be on pain killers all day it's a small price to pay. (Btw: Universal has a terrible disability policy as well.)

Went to Disney for the first (and last) time in 2021. My mom went with me and was suffering from severe anxiety that manifested as claustrophobia. It was so bad she barely was able to enter the plane to fly to Florida. I really wanted her to ride splash mountain but there was one section of the queue that was a narrow tunnel with a curve and you couldn't see where the tunnel opened up again. The cast member was really nice and let her and I go to the front of the line, even though I offered to wait through the line and she could join me at the front so we wouldn't cut in front of others. It was so great because she was able to experience the best ride in the park before it was destroyed. However, I also recognized that this system could be very easily taken advantage of. The solution is not to make disabled guests pay more money.

Disney can afford to accommodate people, they could set an amazing standard and have great business practices but they don't. They do not pay well, they are over priced. It's that common theme of if you are great you don't have to say your great. They just push the magical theme and do not deliver when it comes to courtesy or values.

I have a question for everyone. I have medical issues that can happen anywhere but are more likely to occur in a Disney style line with switchbacks where I can’t remove myself from the line when they happen. These conditions require the area to be evacuated. That would mean shutting down a Disney ride and everyone behind me in line wouldn’t get to go on the ride. Pretend I don’t care about the other people in line. Pretend I’m going to get in the standby line if I don’t qualify for DAS. My question is, would you prefer to have me wait in line with you or would you prefer for Disney to have me wait elsewhere to significantly decrease the odds my medical conditions don’t affect you too?

The reason why I say this is because the fact that I don’t have any vision for one, and I’m not able to see at all, and I cannot see the cast members face directly from my screen if I tried to do a lot tap on my phone so that makes it difficult for me to be able to do all of that so we need to figure out a way to change it the way you can either call in or live chat and get this up-to-date as needed so at the time of booking or able to take care of it and get it all set up that when we paid for it all the information we provided will be on the system

My name is Collin and I just want to say to you that when my mom and I went to Disneyland in 2010, for my high school graduation, we called Disneyland in advance and told them that I had a disability and then as we were walking into the park, we went to one of those guests service counters, and they did see on the system that I do have a disability that I was already on the computer And what they just told us to do was get a wristband that will allow us to go through the wheelchair entrance to get on the ride at Disneyland, but with the changes that’s been occurring at Disney World. I have already have been emailing disability access service several times already and trying to get them to change it to where we can call in to Disney World purchase our tickets and explain the disability needs at the time of booking that way when we get to the Parks The information we already provided. We’re already being in the system so if we can change it to where at the time of booking I can provide my disability needs, and then have my neurologist my primary doctor and those people send an email to the disability access service from the office explaining my disabilities and my needs if we can try working something out so I can have my neurologist who deals with my seizure and my primary doctor. Sending an email to the disability access service That would really help out a lot because then we can try to make sure that we can get me accommodated as quickly as possible so that when we do get the parts all the information that we’ve already provided will be in the system and we can call in 48 to 72 hours prior to arrival to make sure all the information we provided is up-to-date so I think we should change that to where we can put that information in at the time of booking and then 48 hours to 72 hours prior to arrival Call in to confirm all the information to make sure that that gets up-to-date so that that way when we do enter the park it’s already on file so if we can change it that way we can do that in addition to just a live chat that would be wonderful. That way people do not have to just do the live chat. They can still do it if they want to, but they can also call in and take care of that at the time of booking as well as explaining any medical condition at the time of booking so if you can talk to Disney, we’re all in Disneyland and see if there’s a way how they can change it that would be great and appreciate it and we’ll get this updated as needed For both Disney World and Disneyland

Spent a month at Walt Disney World starting in mid December. I am on the autism spectrum. I was denied DAS. Was told to tell the cast members outside each attraction I need accommodations. They directed me to the standby line. I left the attractions without riding. DAS people had told me to try their accommodations and call back if I had problems. I tried to call back. They refused to talk to me. They told me to tell the cast members outside each attraction I need accommodations. Well that wasn’t getting me any accommodations. I quickly got to the point where I was overwhelmed and crying before we could even get to a ride entrance. Then I started dry heaving. I had multiple emotional meltdowns. I went to guest relations sobbing. They were unable to help me. I was unable to eat or even shop because I was so broken. We ended up stopping going to the parks. We saved at least $4000.
