Can't wait to give this a try. Moved from South to Central FL last year, and I'm looking forward to using the train to travel south to see friends and family. The drive on the turnpike has gotten tedious and frustrating. Good tip on the ridesharing.

This was a phenomenal video about the Brightline service! Thanks so much for sharing a detailed, first-hand experience. It really helped me understand the different seating selections and other offerings on board, as well as what the premiere service includes. My husband and I do hope to take this new train service someday, and thanks to your video I am definitely more intrigued about the potential experience than I was prior. I really appreciate your video. Many thanks ❤☀️

Brightline needs to work on these problems…..fast! The thing with trains as opposed to planes is that people are used to flying planes, so they can withstand mistakes such as failure to arrive on time, provide ground transportation, etc. But the stakes are higher for Brightline because the future of High Speed Rail in America depends on its success and if it has problems, then Americans will continue to drive or fly and HSR will fail.

Question please: Does a bus or SunRail connect from the Orlando airport to Disney or Universal? I think with a healthy appetite, and extra time needed to take advantage of the value added perks, the $70 extra for premium could be worthwhile. Better lounge with plenty of good food as well as food on the train. Having a double alcohol beverage twice and an included rideshare have value. You would encounter a better class of riders with 1+2 wider and reclinng seating. Premium class perks, like two stiff ones, could double the worth of the experience over Smart class.
@MainStreetMoments Жыл бұрын
No bus service yet just the ride share And I am Going to try premium there next time. Always traveled on the Brightline that way before and no issues with the other passengers so idk of that’s why.
@enjoyslearningandtravel7957 Жыл бұрын
You can take the city bus to international Drive, that’s at least partway to Disney and I think it goes to Disney Springs. Also, you have to research it more of the city bus schedule, which is called Lynx. Links from the airport and cost only around two dollars. I took it from the airport international drives so I can go to the water theme park.

I take I 95 and 92 from Delray Beach to.Disney and Gas doesn't run me more than $55 round trip. And I don't have to wait for an Uber or pay for travel services once I get to new Orlando area.. I'm free to make my early morning stop at giggins and then onto the parks. And if I need a Hotel for the night, the Rosen inn is right around the corner from Disney Springs on Palm Dr. for $60. Can't wait for Buc-ee's to open in Fort Pierce so I can make a breakfast Stop On. the Way.

Looking at several of these videos, they seem to always be late. I wish they would over estimate the arrival time if this is normally the case
@Big-4 Жыл бұрын
I don’t see the ROI of this if you are having to pay for 3+ tickets considering parking & ride share costs. Premium makes even less sense as that’s more than an airline ticket from FLL/MIA to MCO. The expansion to Tampa will be interesting as that makes more sense to Disney but certainly not to south Florida.

How does the cost of the ticket compare to the gas you would use?
@enjoyslearningandtravel7957 Жыл бұрын
I think you can’t compare the cost of the ticket just to the gas because you use more than gas when you drive, car, insurance, the oil, wear and tear on the tires, etc. plus when you drive at least most people when they drive become a bit stressed and worn. But on the training you can get up and stretch if you need to do to help your circulation and get some work done, instead of just sitting down, talk to their companion, or watch a movie on the train. To be fair, it’s sometimes cost more than the train ticket if you ride the train such as the ride to catch the train unless somebody drops you off. I met one woman on my return to that just had a seven minute ride to where she lives from the airport in Orlando and someone was picking her up. It also depends what you’re doing when you arrive on the train. Some people are just taking cruises and there’s a free shuttle to the port other people with. And doing many different things in the city with a big family might want the car. For me when I travel to a new city such I did I just want to see tourist things like the museum or relax as a beachcomber I don’t need my car for that I had the free electric bus I heard it’s also in some of the other cities
