I'm heading to Dubai to decompress in a week or so, I'm heading to Business Bay though. That part of JVC looks a little weird...I mean, I was looking around cluster X or Z near the lakes with lots of tall buildings and shops, and kids, and dogs supervised by adults. Although, with the zio's still on a rampage, who knows if it all doesn't kick off and flights get cancelled. Flight times on Emirates back to UK have increased by 1 hour... Returning to Dubai is kinda weird and familiar to me. I start to miss it if I'm in the UK for too long. It'll be nice to walk around when the weather (well sun) is more calm.

@@suzukuriJune is not so bad, at least the weather is good at night and early morning, much like May. Comparing it with July and August the weather is far worse, the heat and humidity even at early morning it’s unbearably hot !!

Oh god this is just what I needed. I lived in Bangkok before this and there were many japanese expats there so there were japanese supermarkets like Fuji Supa everywhere so it was easy to find the groceries I’m used to. But now in dubai I’ve lost so much weight because I’m not used to the food 😭

I actually find that Dubai offers a pretty decent lineup of international cuisine! But definitely check out these supermarkets for when you cook at home ✨

definitely agree with you on those crazy taxi drivers. I find if you're willing to pay a bit more for the lexus drivers, you can actually sit through a trip without having to pray for your life.

I have done Tokyo 3mo in a row and it was a breeze Dubai admin isn’t the worst but definitely a small hurdle to overcome.. Doing the nomadic lifestyle at the moment its been a year now and it gets quite exhausting depending on how often you move (I am usually doing it every 1-2 weeks) More and more convinced of 3 homepads (Dubai,Turkey - Bangkok/KL - Seoul/Tokyo) To be the best solution but hopefully 2024 ciment this vision and I pull the trigger. Thank you for the update Suzu and congrats on pushing your boundaries to move abroad takes lots of courage!

So surprised to hear you say admin was a breeze in Tokyo! I find there’s so much paperwork and rules in Japan. Wow yeah I can imagine 1-2 weeks per place would get exhausting…but you must be very well-travelled! Do you only have one suitcase of belongings? Thanks for the kind comment :)

Thank you for watching!! 🥹 My husband is from the UK and we just want to experience different lifestyles and explore our options :) I find London to be more metropolitan and hustle and bustle compared to Dubai and you'll also definitely want to consider if weather is important to you.
