That boosting your hips up before the roll is a great detail. Totally increased my success rate on this move by like 40 percent.

I like the Left Uppercut when used as a follow up to a right-bicep parry. A bicep parry would theoretically give you the time and stance you might want to initiate your aim and build up Awesome Demo

Reminds me of Marcelo's sit up escape from side control. Building up to the hand seems important, to be able to deal with opponent using a tight waist grip with right arm. I'll give it a try.
