Linda was an exquisite beauty, even into her later years, but her personality was the real gem. Her appearance on What’s My Line is one of my all time favorites. What a tragic ending to such a wonderful person

I see most comments are about Ewan... but Renee Zellwegger, holy cow can she sing. She wasn't known as a singer at the time, at least as far as I can remember. She wasn't taken particularly seriously as an actor either. She was fantastic in this, it's just a shame it didn't hit like it should have. But boy, she could have had a career as purely a singer, if she had wanted to.

Harlow at last really hit her stride with this one! After being so stiff and phony in films like "Hell's Angels" and "Public Enemy " where she was so atrocious she was getting unintentional laughs suddenly there she was, marvelous in comedy! The following year "Dinner at Eight" would forever establish her as a top star and she more than held her own with an all-star ensemble cast

One dynamite singer. The plane crash was horrific but she kept on. Great entertainer. Susan Hayward does a marvelous job.

Renee zellueger was very good in this film but Catherine Zeta-Jones was exceptional.. It's why she won best actress in a supporting role at the Oscars with the film as best picture of the year..
