To be honest why should we (the US) defend Europe in my opinion they should pay us money to defend them I say if you aren't paying the 2% of defense money that is required you will not be defended by NATO also for very small countries not paying the 2% is ok cause they smaller than NYC and they have a legit reason. Right now Poland and um uhhh ehh Poland is good enough we don't need everyone else not like they do anything to help to begin with. Also Europe can defend itself besides some members in NATO like Turkey aren't even friendly to the US and many countries want to outright leave why should we defend Europe were always dragged into there affairs. Besides we got friends and allies Israel, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Poland (Yes they might be in NATO but we would probably still support them cause there awesome), and a few others.
