Just an idea, take a paint pen and write the bolt size on the head, i.e. 24 for 24mm.

Just mint, the fela took the time building your deck. Do appreciate you saying anyone can build a deck, but to build a deck 👌 Mud border, bunk board. To pull that out is usually a bunk time. 😉

I am hoping to get into our local at the ship yard. I have an interview coming up in a few weeks. Do you have advice for the interview that might help me stand out from the crowd?

I understand your military analogy but not everyone who applies will qualify for the military. Not to mention the military isn’t for everyone

I’ve seen many videos… your probably the best. My brothers and I all weld mainline. And our youngest brother is in high school and it’s hard to get it through his head. The drive… so he’s been glued to your videos for about 4 days now. Thanks buddy.

A 2 ft level, torpedos, receipt paper, . And learn to weld without a damn remote guys… Around the 4 corners… we change rods, not the heat 🤣 listen to what the old timers have to say. . . And learn to take constructive criticism.. OH! And pipe stretchers. Gota have em

Do I need a die grinder? I’m a student, went to trade school and got my welding/ assembly certification, now I’m doing a 6 month pipe welding course. I noticed that we use die grinders with flap disc grinding wheels on them to clean up the inside of the pipe where we weld the root. Not so much on Stick welding but more so when Tig welding. I’m looking at the Milwaukee m18 die grinders. Do it need that ? It’s the only power tool we use other than grinders

Where are you finding SA200s for 2500? Does it just depend on the region? I don’t know where to look but everything I see is crazy expensive even for older machines
@Mr.Crosbyy.5 ай бұрын
In my opinion…. A lot of guys have these 15-18k welding machines… and most of us run 200’s. Yeah you’ll work on your 200 a lot… but once your 17k machine breaks down? You have to leave work and get it repaired and tear the thing apart… but a 200??? Kick it a couple times and get back to weldin. I’ve seen a buddy pour Gatorade in the radiator when the coolant froze in -65 degrees up in Montana. 🤣🤣

@DownhillWelder3006 ай бұрын
Depends what country you’re from. If your country didn’t land on the moon, it’s metric. If it did, then it’s SAE.
@davide3396 ай бұрын
@@DownhillWelder300 well that depends on what you mean by “land”China,India,Japan,and theUSA have all landed some sort of spacecraft on the moon

@DownhillWelder300 and the irony in that comment is NASA used the metric system to do it.

53 Series Kioti 4x4 with a bucket. Fill the tires. We’ve had ours for a little over a year and love it. Small enough to get through a 6’ gate, but big enough to get a 1,400 lb round bale of hay off the top row of a semi trailer if you don’t mind a little pucker factor.
