People are afraid of others that think outside the box... I love it!!! Be different...do you... If it works...it works... Some things do not have a wrong way or right way but people still go bolistic... 🤣😂🤣🙄🤣😂

This was a great video, and I plunged into my door swap w/o checking to see how my Frigidaire corresponded w/ the one in this video. Big differences, SO, do due diligence BEFORE you start. I liked your presentation style so well, I subscribed.

Nice, low cost repair....vs. the marketplace and 2 part mixing etc.....I have to remove my window trim, wood is bowed, and behind of it could not be fastened due to rotted wood. I will no doubt use this after I treat it with a wood hardener.....spray and brush in, then use Rock Hard......good video thx.

Broader, sharper-imaged video with explanation of what materials you used would have been VG. Guess it is drywall/joint compound (not fast-setting) with some grit of sand mixed in and a rag or sponge or whatever material you used to spread it. ???

Does anyone else hate these metal wrappings as much as I do? Not only do they hide potential damage, leaks, etc going on with the wood beneath it, the metal itself is not all that durable (dents easily, and cant be repaired w/o replacement), and fades over time, requiring painting anyway, you really need to pay someone to replace it unless you enjoy metal work (not me), and it looks cheap, so what’s the benefit exactly?? I’d much rather use real wood, and even if it rots you can scarf in a new piece down the road, or with today’s materials available, epoxy the rotten wood and not ever have to worry about it again. Same with the 2” trim with integrated weatherstrip. These pvc parts shrink and expand in the weather and warp in the sun and over time will become brittle. And if the vinyl weatherstrip fails, well you have to replace the entire thing! Literally every other exterior door in the house has a replaceable weatherstrip that doesn’t require replacing the door jamb. There could easily simply be a metal channel that a vinyl weatherstrip slides into (similar to a shower door system) and screws into the frame of the garage door opening. It just seems like all these are just more throwaway products meant to be consumables instead of maintenance items on new houses, which is ridiculous.

It’s a patch. It can hold a certain amount of pressure or weight, but after all is a patch. Even for concrete, a patch is no consider to hold anything. Don’t hang anything heavy. It’s simply a cosmetic repair and is a great product.

Thank you so much for showing this video. I need to have that done and I have contacted a few who advertise as doing handyman work, but I haven't heard back yet from them yet. Is this a job that handymen hate to do or something?? I wish you knew someone in NC who does this kind of work!

Sorry, Miss Gloria. I’m right next-door but still far. Any handyman should be able to rebuild the bottom of a cabinet and you can too!

Which size screws did you install on wood shelves from the bracket
@homemendАй бұрын
That’s a good question Dee. I used 2 1/2 inch. That gets you through a half inch of wall board into the wood.
@shamrock5725Ай бұрын
Word of advice. There are different screen thicknesses and types. If you decide to get q thicker screen then you might wanna get a thinner sized screen spline than the original size because they will become an absolute pain to install

You would want to measure the inside track of the left side to the inside track of the right side. And the same for the top and bottom. if it looks to you like it should be a little bigger add to your measurement. You got this.
