STAY AWAY FROM MONTANA! The natives will scalp you and take you to the train station! If you are from one of the leftard states that think you have the right to bring you tr🗑sh way of life with you and demand everyone cower to you, stay away. There are plenty of abandoned mine shafts for the locals to give you a tour of. Montana has a large Indian population. Unfortunately that is where most of the 🥃 is consumed. So stay away from Montana! You will not like being there! ( And we will gladly not have you stop by).

Why dont you talk about the Landlords that have raised the rent so much as too have the renters have to find alternative means so as to be able to have a roof over there head?Its unpleasant to have to live in trailor, wake up woke boy

So what he is saying, all the rich Californians have moved in there and driven the prices through the roof, where the average family cannot afford anything. Because they don't count on the menial low paying jobs to buy property. Or like he says, you can move to Butte, the butthole of Montana and buy some affordable pile of crap in Walkerville. Nothing has changed since I lived in Montana in the 70's

Stupidity is not limited to Montana. Alcohol and drug abuse is rampant everywhere in the US. A unique factor in Montana is that there isn’t a lot of cultural activities. In the summer, there are craft shows and rodeos, an occasional concert, and sightseeing, but in the winter, there is nothing, so socializing always includes drinking. There is a craft beer brewery on almost every street. These places are crowded every night, not just on weekends. I am always surprised at the lack of law enforcement related to drunk driving. You see it everywhere, but you never see a DUI checkpoint. It’s just the way of life here. Personally, I live near Helena and I only go into town in the daytime, and rarely do I go to town on weekends, because it’s just not safe with so many impaired drivers on the road.

Besides the cold winters and high housing costs, a big issue people moving to Montana don’t consider is the lack of quality healthcare. It is very difficult to entice top level medical professionals to a state with substandard facilities. In Montana, expect to wait months for doctor appointments, and even longer for dental care. In some area’s, a dental appointment may be a year wait. When you do get your appointment, you may find that your doctor is more interested in fishing or hunting than your health concerns. It’s really difficult to get appointments during hunting season. If you have ongoing medical issues, you will be wise to not move there.

Life long montanan here. The locals in bozeman were replaced by out of state tranplants 20 years ago. Bozeman no longer has a great deal in common with the rest of the state other than the mountains and rivers. The people living there now have changed it. No real sense of community there, mostly a real estate cash grab and former working class residents living on the fringe, having been priced out years ago, now pouring coffee and cleaning the toilets of the wealthy out of staters.. gentrification at its worst.

If you don't want homeless, you need to get involved much earlier in the process. Social programs are against the GOP agenda, and its not criminal yet to be homeless... give the Maga enough time and anyone deemed "useless" will be locked up, exported and enslaved... its just another agenda of the religious right... which ironically is often dead wrong.

He mentions winter and the show Yellowstone makes it look like it's always summer and blue skies, but the truth is that winter lasts 7 months a year. Spring and Autumn are both about 1 month each and summer is 3 months of scorching hot, dry forest fire season. Winters are not the shiny blue sky in the ads. Those days are rare. Winter is dreary grey skies and wind, icy, biting deadly wind. -20, -30 to even -40 F without the wind is a typical portion of winter here. Prices are high and wages are low. Driving anywhere during winter is an exercise in death defiance. If you aren't okay seeing dead animals on top of cars and in the back of trucks - you really, really don't want to live here. Guns and shooting are a culture here and if that ain't your thing, again, you really don't want to be here. And if that doesn't sound inviting let's not forget that our bears will eat you, our lions will stalk you, our rattle snakes will put you in the hospital and our locals have become very, very intolerant of out of staters attempting to bring their big city BS to our state. Other than that - Welcome to Big Sky Country.

You basically summarized several parts of several different videos of mine. The only thing I disagree with is the gray skys in the winter. Yes we get them but so many days have a beautiful blue sky in the winter. We aren't like the Seattle or Portland area.

What this guy doesn't realize is no one is moving to Polson because they like lakes.He is isolated in his thinking as most states do not just have a lake here or there there will be lakes everywhere. So in most states a lake is just an hour or so away so just realize no one is leaving Florida or Texas because they want a lake smfh. It is slower like he says but this leaves the locals bored and we all know what being bored and redneck leads to.

I can sum the entire video up pretty easy, the state is made of people not places and statistically Montana is one of the most illiterate states in the country. Bozeman is full of needy insecure college kids and adults who will not leave me alone. They want to know everything about me just because I am in my 50's and I am not interested. Also, the kids insult me with their bucketlist questions, they insult you if you disagree with their politics which is a child's delusion here. Virtually everyone in this part of the state Bozeman, wants the U.S. to consider muslim terrorists as somehow better than jewish people who never attacked anyone. I have been called racist three times in my first week, despite no blacks anywhere here. I got called racist right after someone intruded in my conversation about my southern accent then decided I am an issue. No one will leave older people alone here. When I was a college kid I was interested in girls, here they keep obsessing over politics and harassing everyone who does not agree with all their delusions about Trump and anything else they can dream up. It was nice 20 years ago now the billionaires have brainwashed all the young people and if you work here you will surely be attacked verbally by some billegerent college kid for being something other than what he thinks you should be. Even the man who coined the term "Last Great Place" says North Dakota is much better these days. Montana is also ranked as one of the most redneck states in the country.

Blaming it on the alcohol is not the problem, doing 80mph in icy conditions are. Driving while texting or talking on the cell phone are. People driving like idiots are. The campers along the side of the roads are people that have been driven out of the rentals because of high prices and the TSA security check you have to go through. Dude, your so young, you have no idea what Montana is compared to the whole west coast. And the 9th is about to change for the better, it will not be getting their pockets stuffed with California's money any longer. Everything that newsom has done is being overturned as we speak.
@kingofkingsmoonpie4075

To many people wanting to be cowboys. Left 20 years ago. Town went from small to gigantic. Making good money is not the problem, the out of staters have bought property and built a house or bought a house and decided they don't like the winters and try to sell the property for 10 times the amount of what they paid for it. I moved back, got a good paying job within 2 day's. Housing is is good for renter's, but buying is ridiculous. This isn't California, Oregon or Washington state. Keep those high prices on the west coast. I remember when your job's wage was good enough to rent a home. Now you have to go through a homeland security check plus 2 pints of plasma just to be considered to rent in the town im in. It's like buying salsa in Texas but it's made in new york city. Don't come here to change Montana's ways, stay the f-out. Especially if you're a democrat or belong to a anti-gun group.

One thing people dont realize also that the winter days are verrrry short. The days that are 18 hours long in the summer are great, but in December you just dont have that much sunshine, and if you are west of the Continental Divide, you have a lot of cloudiness. It does make a lot of difference

Currently doing research to move to Montana. I live in northern Utah where the population has exploded the past few years. As of now I’m leaning towards Kalispell or somewhere in Flathead county. Cost of living is slightly cheaper there than where I’m at, plus surprisingly higher wages for my field of work. Being from Utah I’m used to cold and snowy winters (albeit not as severe as Montana)
