the thing about this, is that before this he tries to be normal, on his first date with betsy hes trying to fit into social norms and orders what he thinks is a normal thing to order for there, and at the movie theatre he gets snacks like normal people do. but he does what normal people do, but in the wrong situations, with betsy he got pie whilst she got fruit salad, he seems unhealthy there, and in that scene he gets completely destroyed by everything, it all went wrong, he tries to be funny but betsy throws it down the drain, and his fragile ego doesnt accept it but he still keeps going because he believes shes different, then after he made a huge mistake he asked for another chance on the phone which was such a awkward scene with the camera panning to the lonely hallway, she clearly rejected him and goes to her workplace to confront her, and thats when he realised shes like all the others. (wasnt related at all ik). and in the movie theatre, it was a ton of snacks and its a porn theatre. after hes rejected by betsy you see him eating this, its just when hes given up trying to fit in just like all the others and starts self loathing

I received both shows on bootleg CDs many years ago. I'd heard talk about them but had no way to hear them. A Bruce pal of mine was kind enough to burn me the copies while telling me that this version was so good I'd want to get naked and run screaming through my house. Damn near. Thanks oh HUGE one ;)
