Seeing this short film inspired me. I can't believe just one person did this.

Something to consider is that no matter how oppressive and scary that war always seems - a real version would be so much worse. If you consider my capabilities in the military with NODs and thermal and the almost god-like advantage it gave us. The capability those provide to drones, fixed winged aircraft, and helicopters. What sonar allows submarines to do. These are mundane pieces of tech today. Albeit with gatekeeping in the market price-wise. I can get all of that and watch you 100's of meters out (far more with some) and you'll never know I'm there. Then suddenly: oblivion. You can't hide in a building. Even then I can see anything you've touched very recently. We have common devices that can hear sound through multiple walls and pinpoint the exact room. We can use lasers to listen by looking at the vibrations of an object in that room or even just the walls (though in its infancy still) Now think of all these things being used by something with thousands of times our intelligence and unlimited resources. That thing packs all those onto a platform that looks and acts like a human but can tank any small arms fire thrown at it. You can't evade it. Hide from it. Trick it. Dodge its perfect aim. Or even kill it in most cases (even if you do, so what? Theres thousands, maybe millions more) Anyway, we're running head first into AI despite every warning ever. Sure it's laughable at the moment but by the time we got AGI it'll be too late. Ifnwe notice a problem, it's because it wants us to know but its a million steps beyond that already and its merely giving you a little grin right before deleting all of us in one motion. Should be fun 😎👍

Crazy how much made it in movie one, when they had to figure out just how to get machines to make the movie parts.

Why do the machines need spotlights to see? Not crapping on this video, I know that's the way it's been in all of the movies.

Totally automated but still need wingtip lights? That only helps humans determine direction so we can square one up for attack. Thanks...I guess.

Computers are only as smart as the people programming them. Most people are idiots. What's that tell you? Lol. The Terminator franchise died when Dark Fate was released. Worst Terminator film of them all.

Great work! This single video kept the tone, atmosphere, and (most importantly) the mystique of the future war scenes we saw in T1 and T2 - keeping everything from the visuals and audio, to the storytelling consistent with what us fans want from Terminator. Whoever made this understands Terminator as a piece of art, and understands what the fans want more than the studios who have released Terminator movies post-T2. It retained the obvious power imbalance between the humans and machines. It didn't have the humans rolling out in large loud groups in the middle of the day. The humans were sneaking around during the cover of night and being quiet, because even a single T-800 can wipe out a large group of humans single handed. It didn't have humans facing off against a massive army of T-800s - keeping the main enemies as the large faceless units.

Yes this is a great video but it doesn’t even compare to a film by Hollywood. And yes Dark Fate is one of the worst movies ever made. A true middle finger to the franchise. But this video is not a story, it’s simply footage of the war. Albeit very well done, it’s not “better than Hollywood”. Apples and oranges.

Could you POSSIBLY, make a short movie, when Skynet took over, after the war, set up the factories that built the Terminators, HK’s and all?
@user-eq8tw8xn2bАй бұрын
Ok it's time for us to consider giving movie to this solo artist for making films, kinda like indie Game kickstarters, we all know fully well that crapywood isnt going to do It well so we may as well take action into the Matter. 1€ from everyone that likes this video can give the Guy the people and sources to make a 90 minute film of this!

a short that shows how cold and helpless the Terminator universe is and reminds us of the times that humanity almost became extinct but neither nature killed us nor machines would and humanity only needs a ray of hope in the face of its predators and Seeing that HK fall at the end of the short film and the humans approaching shows us how humans rise up to fight to survive

This is what annoys me. More passion and a far superior product than an “official” production with millions of dollars behind it. If only Hollywood still cared
