0:42 those are the exhaust ports, they're on the side of the cannons and point in the same direction. A bullet can easily penetrate there as the blades are weaker than the armor and wreak havoc on the engine, effectively disabling the cannon tilting and depending on the ammunition even cause severe damage to the core systems.

What is an impulse cannon anyways? And if you're basically firing a pressure wave, how do you plan on fighting the recoil with those thin legs. If it were to be knocked over, do you have some pistons on the top that could flip it up right? Not bad at all, but these couple questions might help you engineer it better.

@FatherPeru "Why a crab?" I wanted to design a robot of the likes I hadn't seen before. The multi-legged C.R.A.B. is what I came up with. "Why law enforcement?" I thought the C.R.A.B. would be ideal as an imposing form of 'guard' to deter crime in certain circumstances, eg guarding high-risk buildings, or helping to contain demonstrators during riots. It also has obvious potential for military use.... but this is all just fantasy :)
