The Kawasaki Ultra 250/260 are bad. Very unreliable. Idk what you mean when you say "the Kawasaki Ultra has a lot of problems" 300/310 is a fairly decent supercharged models. The 2019 and up ones especially. The non supercharged Ultras are bulletproof. The Ultra hull is the best rough water hull. Please don’t hate on Kawasakis. SeaDoo and Yamaha sacrifice hull integrity for speed and for larger engines. Kawi prioritizes reliability over innovation true but I trust their product

A slider or roller that is pressing down on the top of chain all the time, can have be beneficial to what bicyclists call pedal kickback. Meaning bumps in the road will not effect the suspension as much.

At the end of the video you said the new controller pumps more amps. I was doing research because I’m planning to build a kart and what everyone says in volts=rpms and amps are what kill motors. I guess the motors like to go fast but when they are lugging that’s when the amps kick up and start heating up the motor. Luckily you are using a massive motor so I don’t think you’ll have that problem. The Kart is awesome man I know the build is 4 years old but it’s still really awesome and can’t wait to see the next video!

Seeing you do the math to figure out what motor to pair with what controller and battery is really making me feel better about the 60v 3,000w 30amp or something motor that was looking at. I want to try to electric swap a go kart and make a drift kart.

I just found your channel after looking for crazy low budget go kart builds and seeing you do the math to figure out proper requirements for the battery motor and controller is really about to help me figure out what to buy to build a drift kart. I think I’m going to go with a much smaller 72v 3,000w 30amp motor hopefully. But I’m going to push it to the limit and might even try to make a water cooler too since I’ll be pushing it.

You said you wanted less drag from the front .... hmmm all them washers .... yeah needed ... but maybe epoxy over them so you have a smoother surface ... also possibly wax each use .... believe they wax skis etc ... Just some thoughts to aid
