@@RUSLAN-REMONT No, I love doing this no matter how big the audience, and I am grateful for everyone who watches. I have a high stress job and many other family responsibilities (elderly parents, etc) that make it difficult to work on the channel (or do anything else, for that matter…) But I love doing this, nothing makes me happier, and the community is so great. So I fully intend to come back.

Hi Bert! I got my pair of MDR-Z1R based on this review about three years ago, and I absolutely love it. I really look forward to your coming back! Can’t remember how many times I revisited your videos. Seeing that you are still responding to recent comments make me feel that I must tell you this. Your videos are humorous, enjoyable, and so on-point with really valuable opinions (not the “rate everything 7/10 for safety” type). I’ve watched many headphone reviews in the past four years, both in English and in my native language Chinese. There are other in-depth, more hard-core professional reviews that I like, but your videos are on another enjoyable level.

@@kenny41846 Thanks, but I could never sell a Sony R10, there is simply nothing like it. It sounds so “alive” in the mid range. With the R10 you aren’t just listening to voices singing, you are in the same room with the singer. An uncanny experience. But even having one, you cannot listen to it all the time, it is quite delicate and therefore only for special occasions. It’s hard to put into words. I should make a video explaining this!

That’s cool, as a collector, I completely understand. My only advice there is make sure you like BOTH warm AND analytical headphones, as these two are quite different in that sense. The R10 is very warm and smooth while the Qualia 010 is quite analytical and detailed. Qualia has a little bit of brightness/sibilance to my taste, but the right source & amp can improve that. R10 mids are lifelike and unparalleled. For both, but especially the R10, the bass quantity is not the same as modern audiophile headphones.

Man, I wish I had my old Walkmen and boomboxes and stuff I've owned through the years. I've looked into rebuying some through the years and unless I'd stumble across them at a thrift store or something it's just not happening. I wish our old, used, consumer electronics and media market was more like Japan's...

it's funny to listen to headphone recordings through headphones the soundstage was a good thing to point out that is definitely quality you can pick off that, but overall sound signature is modified through headphones you listen to :D Yet I'm not gonna lie HD800 sounds pretty great through HD650 :D they all sound like crap through th900 XD

They may look and feel fragile, but I had mine for around 15 years and they survived various falls without much issue. Their main Achilles heel are the ear pads, which will disintegrate after a couple of years of regular use, but KOSS sells replacements for around $5 for 3 pairs.
