Stocked fish are dumb. They would eat toe nail clippings 😂

I know this is an old video, but I hope you see my comment. Did you take into consideration the scent of the power bait?

Nice video . I have no luck fishing with flies what so ever 😂 . I even bought a fly rod , still no luck.

I feel like these trout are verry carefull ones. often happens on warm days in summer. usually when I get one of these days I try to set my reel to freewheel - gets me more fish on those carefull nibble bite days

This is great footage! What were the water temperatures?
@EParkFishing9 күн бұрын
Thank you! I believe this was filmed in the Spring. Not sure what the temperature of the water was, but it was probably 60/30 high/low temp outside That time of year.

#16 is extremely small, far greater mortality risk than #6 for C&R I wonder how well they digest strawberry? Seems like a nice snack if they can digest sugar well. The cheese test was pretty funny. They're an amusing fish

I’m headed to the mountains in Western NC this weekend and I couldn’t get a fly rod in time, so this video was perfect. I got 2 ultralight rods that I’m going to try both of these setups on

Im wondering, is there a difference between preference for farm raised and wild trouts preference? What are these? Are you fishing at a reservoir?

Nice bro. Been fishing that spot for 30 something years. What really helps me right there is that when you have a fish on fight it with your rod tip pointed downstream that will keep him pointed upstream. Just a little tip I learned years ago from a man that had fished it for 30 years before me.

I fished small creeks with a Zebco UL spincast outfit; small bobber, small snap swivel for weight and cheap flies from the discount store. Wife caught a big bluegill, 9 inches, from a pool no bigger than a bathtub! This is an efficient way to catch fish.

My local pond just got stocked and seeing this underwater footage confirms what I was thinking. The first day they were biting almost anything and I caught my limit on a jig and soft plastic. The next day they’d only eat powerbait, but I kept getting these same weird short strikes and not being able to set the hook. Now I see that I need to switch hooks and not pack the power bait on too tight. Great video
