Whenever I feel I have this thing beat that’s when I fall again. I decided I have to take it a day at a time and go to the Lord instead of food. The last time I binged which was 8 days ago I was coming off a month long derailment and gained 15 lbs back. I love your videos cuz I relate and it IS so difficult but you are strong to post and I revisit this video frequently because I relate. Hopefully you are going strong !! ❤

Some will say not carnivore. but when i feel the urge to eat my emotions i eat sugar free popsicles. The popsicle brand sugar free ones are 10 calories per popsicle, and 0 carbs, 0 sugar. Not the healthiest, but even if you ate the whole box it's just 180 calories (18 popsicles 10 calories each). I try to keep some around, plus my 1 year old loves popsicles.

I was strict carnivore for 2 years. I never lost weight and probably gained some. Terrified to get on the scale. It didn't help my psoriasis either, in fact made it a little worse. The only benefit was thicker hair. I tried all the different tweaks and none of it worked. My energy was super low. I finally quit. This way of eating was supposed to give me food freedom, simplicity and a healthy weight. It just didn't work. My energy was so low I couldn't even exercise anymore. I finally went back to a whole foods balanced diet with carbs. I feel better and I can exercise now and I'm probably eating fewer calories because I feel full after eating now. I'm so tired of having to obsess over food and exercise. It's not healthy.

Have you looked at dr Elizabeth Brights work? 1800 calories is not enough and puts you in diet mode rather than nourish mode. If you’ve been binge eating for a long time your body is screaming for nourishment. Once it gets that and you feel “safe” the tendency to binge will go permanently. You look great and you can see in your face the change. Pounds are not as important as healing. Just some thoughts!😊

I have been wrestling with myself and obsessing over a family get together in a couple of weeks and whether I’ll eat the food there (carbs and desserts I should think!) or whether I’ll stay carnivore on the day. It’s like someone heard me as your video came up in my suggestions! Thank you for your honesty, you could have been talking about me, I have all of the same behaviours, and hearing you recognise your behaviour and own it is really helpful. This is the first video of yours I’ve seen, with perfect timing, and I’m now a subscriber. Thank you so much! 🥰

I had the same issue before carnivore it would be long time before id go..but when i did it was an event for sure and toilet plugger. Unfortunatly on carnivore i have mostly rough constipation now hard to pass and always hard in my stomach. Only had explosive diarrah once about 2 weeks into carnivore then very hard. Cutting out milk helps so relying on magnesium citrate for now

I have watched a lot of videos from several different people on the carnivore diet and my main question is, What is the deal with all the salt that is being used? I have never ever used salt to season anything. Don't really like the taste of it or what it does to the food. My main seasonings that I use on just about all my meat cooking is onion powder, garlic powder, cracked pepper and rosemary.

Its the calories. The carnivore food is wonderful for inflamation, mental health, skin and many other things, but the calories do matter and deficit is needed to lose. I broke my plateau this way by counting calories and ensuring i reached a 3500 deficit by the weeks end to lose 1 pound.

Question: Is the binge eating triggered by your mom or grandma? That might be where you go to diffuse the old behaviour. Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan

As a retired psychologist I always connected binge eating to emotional eating. (My take, not everyone else's.) One thing I always suggested was the patient keeping a food diary so they could see the markers leading up to and dealing with a binge eat. Blood sugar can of course also trigger a binge eat. And I really worked with patients to get them to FEEL why they binge ate, e.g. depression or anxiety. Then we could really get to the nuts and bolts of their triggers, which of course led to how they could learn to control such eating. But I think I am telling you what you already know because you are very into stats and research, et al. Simply put, find or remember the triggers and take control over them. You are the master of your mind and body, so get rid of those triggers. You said months ago that you wanted to be held accountable so here's my take on that. Please do not be angry with me...I'm 100% on your side. Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan

I made beef liver pate, but at the mixing stage I discovered a couple cooked hamburger patties in the fridge (and I don't really like leftovers), so I added the patties to the pate. It was delicious, and even my SIL liked it---SHOCK!!! In fact months later she asked me to make it again, just like before. I started watching your videos about carnivore not working for you and you said exactly what I have been saying/thinking for the same time period. You and I started this trek at the same time. I lost 40 lbs in about 9 months and have been at a plateau since, but I haven't given up carnivore. Three weeks ago I got the gut feeling that I should cut back on the fats and incorporate other foods, at least a little bit, and am still feeling great and lost 3 lbs. I listen to my inner voice most of the time so I'm glad I finally took it serious LOL. I'm a new subscriber, and enjoy your videos so far. Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan.

For those worried about the cost of being carnivore - I've been carnivore for around 4 years now and I spend at least HALF of what I did on food before going carnivore. The main reasons why you can easily spend less doing carnivore: 1) You don't have to live on Ribeye. I buy mostly ground beef, pork tenderloin and eggs for the majority of my meals. I spend about $350 on food a month. 2) Being carnivore you don't eat as much food because you get a higher fat content eating carnivore and that's extremely satisfying. You easily eat less per meal and you eat fewer meals. I almost never have more than 2 meals a day and maybe 20% of the time I have a single meal in a day. 3) If you do carnivore right you rarely eat fast food, delivery or at restaurants. It's so much cheaper eating home cooked meals. Buy meat, salt it, cook it, eat it. That's it. Another huge savings with carnivore involves the most valuable resource in the world - Time. The health benefits with carnivore (or Keto) are seen within the first few weeks. You sleep better. When you have a better night's sleep you don't need as much sleep. I used to need 8-9 hours per night but now on carnivore I almost never need more than 6.5-7 hours a night. That's more time that I'm awake and doing things with my life. There are so many other benefits like improved health, more energy, huge decrease or elimination of aches & pains in your body (if your older like me). It can also virtually eliminate dental bills becuase if you don't eat carbs your teeth stay in far better shape...

A year & a half now on carnivore for me....Down 30 lbs. My blood work was perfect with a low dosage of blood pressure meds....The last 4 months I'm up 9 lbs. and I really don't want to go that direction. I know I'm not eating enough fat and I've not drinking bone broth like I was. I'm the same as you, I need to be 160 to 165 would be my goal. I'm 5'8 at 179 lbs.... I feel great on this diet so I'm not giving up :)

I recently did a video on this same topic. Not a eloquently as you. People ask me all the time, why I don't take a statin since I had my stroke. I just smile and tell them Statins are poison. Since Carnivore, My LDL is always between 90-130, and my HDL is in the 80's and my Triglycerides are always between 30-60. I would add that a leaky gut also causes endotoxins to bond with the LDL and it then gets broken and attacked by the immune system. This is where many auto-immune disorders come from.
