Because the bad news is , Geo Spatial VPS is not available in India yet. The tracking is only based on the GPS , so it won't be stable. Good news is, VPS is coming to India later this year

@@chinthakaabeyrathne8421 No workarounds for this on geo spatial creator but it can be achieved with niantic's light ship ardk or immersal SDK but you've to scan the area manually by yourself to achieve that

1.it helps a lot in your career if you have worked on multiple devices but I don't recommend Apple Vision Pro for beginners 2.I would say Unity/Unreal, openxr and also specifically meta sdk for quest family of devices . These are the things you have to start with and post that you can hop onto webxr but if you're already in the web domain, familiar with javascript then start with three.js, webxr and hop on to game engines later 3. Both but shapes xr can do a lot more than just prototyping

It's not mandatory to grab the ui while waking... Whenever you pinch with your thumb & index, the screen will spawn there but if your question is how can we the screen even during the walk then it's not possible... You can try holding the menus with the controller instead of your hands, it'll give you a stable tracking but it should be in the field of view of the cameras

Can you do a video tutorial about anchoring to indoor locations Google has persistent cloud anchors that "Scan an indoors location and use this saved location later in your augmented reality experience." However ive not been able to figure it out for indoors? For example, creating an art tour that can be shared on XR devices So that people walking through the same room can see the same 3d models in the same location. Eg there may be a model in each corner of the room, and in the centre of each wall. Or having a different model appearing in different rooms. I know how to do that with geospatial creator for google anchor point outside based on lat and long, but inside im having trouble figuring it out indoors.. Ive seen some people do this through an nfc code or qr image on the wall or Immersal.. but it would be much better if it could be done solely on the device like it is with geospatial creator with their stock solution or something universal.. So that everyone using the app can see the same things, just like you would in street view.

As far as my knowledge goes , I don't think we can build for indoors using a geospatial creator. As you mentioned, we can use immersal or vuforia area tragets or lightship ARDK VPS

@@gunterstunter If you have iphone pro with a lidar, you're not using it commercially & having a watermark is not an issue then go with vuforia area targets if not you can try immersal and if you want more feature like semantic segmentation, labeling of objects, AR foundation base etc you can try Lightship VPS

@@vivekchand5762 aaah got it, for MRUK you can use MAC for development if you're targeting Quest standalone like Quest2/3 (android ) but I don't think you can do that for Oculus PC build. For the Quest2/3 , the problem is you can't test it in the play mode , you have to build the apk , install & test it coz you're using a mac. Regarding the Quest, I think they're working on this problem to make quest devices officially available in India, coz I got the reply to one of my posts on LinkedIn from meta

Yes, I'm aware of ajna lens. It's an Indian company building mr device . If I'm not wrong, they also have a training program where they train people on unity/unreal and are trying to setup partnerships too to answer your question it still has a long way to go...if you're comparing it against quest3, then I would suggest you to buy the Quest2 at this moment

If you've all the steps mentioned in the video then you'll get the unity play mode automatically working on your headset. Anyway I'm planning to do video on the latest changes, it's not oculus integration anymore, it's maeta all in one SDK now and they've streamlined a lot of things...now the setup is very straight forward

slthough the quest is good it is not comparable to the apple vision pro no because it is apple but because of how much more convienient it is compared to the quest 3 mainly cause of the hand gestures and how well it merges with the apple ecosystem, not only that apple vision pro uses the app store which means not only 90% of the apps in appstore can be used on the vision pro where as only a few on the quest althugh quest 3 is a good vr headset it only really shines when it comes to playing games etc mainly cuz of it physical holders u need to use to act as objects both are meant for 2 completely different audiences and the apple viison pro is still a developer release in conclusion the quest cant be compared to the vision pro as there target audiences are diffrent as well as because of the build quality

I agree but it's also not 4k usd and most importantly what people are doing vision pro for those things quest 3 is enough...but for the other things that you've mentioned Vision Pro shines there

I completely agree. I came across this about two years ago I think it is by now, when it was first released I think. There was some article about it that I guess I somewhat randomly came across. I figured it would become very popular very fast. I have not worked much on XR projects the last two years though so I have not used it much myself. The VR projects I have worked on, I have been focusing on more specific stuff like ways to load 3D models at runtime and how to launch other apps on the Quest. But now that I have both of those features working I think I want to bring something like this into it. I can also recommend a couple of paid assets that I am pretty sure works well together with UltimateXR, at least I hope so. They are Hexabody and HurricaneVR. One problem might be there being some overlap between these assets.

Wow, glad that my video helped you ❤️ I would say It would be the same even if you go with any course paid/free outside KZbin too because , there's a new update to the SDK, there's new hardware in the market , some of them are cross platform,some of them are proprietary etc...The point I'm trying to make is , no matter where you learn it will get outdated pretty soon, while I encourage you to go through a course and get the basics right....I would recommend you to start going through the documentation (we often ignore how useful it'll be) , going through the official blogs, latest KZbin tutorials and getting your hands dirty is the way to go! These are the resources I think are up to date and can rely on as a course but I guess some parts of these courses might also be a little outdated xrbootcamp.com/ immersive-insiders.com/ Learnxr.io All of them are paid!

It's difficult to know what exactly is the problem without looking at the project....Try to follow each and every step precisely again...if it still occurs, then it might be because there are changes/updates happening which are causing this issue

It's not damaged, I've fast-forwarded to not bore you guys , after adding the API key , you can select AR geo spatial creator origin. There you can see latitude & longitude, just enter the values of the place that you want to load, you're good to go By default, it might show you some random place but you can add your own coordinates as described above. Note : There might be some changes in the names/menus as there might be some updates to the SDK after I've recorded the video
