I just listened for the 1st time to a pineal gland/DMT frequency and it really had an effect on what was swirling around in my head while listening . So is that nothing related to DMT releasing and just something else to do with the frequency?

I can't recommend psilocybin enough for people with obsessive thought patterns. You know what I'm talking about, that merry-go-round of negative thoughts that ain't so merry. Psilocybin micro dosing helped with getting out of the rut of ruminating thoughts about horrid experiences in the past. Psilocybin also stopped my "song stuck in head" syndrome while I was on it. (I'm talking about songs being stuck for days or weeks.) The symptoms come back when I stop micro dosing, so I suspect my OCD or whatever that's causing obsessive patterns is too deeply wired to be truly healed, but it's such a relief to have a respite.

Overdose and poisoning are two completely different things. Take too much so that the common, main effects cause death or near death. Or simply just taking more than what you were supposed to. Poisoning is some that would happen within the limits of your tolerance when we're talking about something generally considered safe under appropriate circumstances. You could have a tolerance to oxycodone that is so high that the human body simply cannot tolerate and your brain begins to bleed. That's Poisoning in the context of chronically administered drugs. Oxycodone does not directly damage the body on a cellular level. Ill use alcohols as examples. Consuming even the smallest amount is Poisoning because it destroys the body on a cellular level as one of its main side effects. Oxycodone doesn't typically make your brain bleed and 99% of people would die from the classic effects of the drug far sooner than they would experience other more unusual effects. Just my personal opinion and it makes sense to me.

Been working in the kratom industry for about 7 years, consumer for about 10.. kicked a heavy opiate habit within a month with it.. as others have said its a double edged sword. Its one of those "less is more" kind of things. Ive been at 2-4g once a day, and 20g 3+ times a day. These days... I dont take it but once or twice a week. Sometimes its twice in a day, a moderate 4-6g.. and sometimes its just once a day 2-3 days a week. I think a key difference with mitragynine though is the ceiling effect... You cant chase the dragon with it forever.. the effects become reversed and you feel worse. Its important to develop a responsible and disciplined regiment with it. Its great for pain, really decent boost in energy and mood, but as with anything you take frequently for extended periods of time, you will have some kind of biological rubber band when you stop cood turkey. A smooth 10% taper on your serving size every 2-4 days is a comfortable way to bring your tolerance down and keep your consumption in check. Its a very gray area for most folks, but used responsibly, it can certainly change your life in positive ways. All good things in moderation.

Appreciate your presentation but with caveats, reservations & criticism, not for you but the situation & those involved. Abusers are irresponsible, weak, & often awful people yet get indulged, sympathized, & exploited by immoral conniving parasitic NGOs & systemic corruption among medical personnel especially amid Veteran Exploitation Industrial Complex that have caused innocent people to deliberately endure stigma, slander, fraud, neglect, & harm with further injury, trauma, & tragedy from needless suffering to suicide ... willful negligence & contributing to their death. Nothing else is an effective & safe alternative for responsible use of opioid as analgesic providing deserved relief & from becoming overwhelmed by disabiling & deadly conditions imposed by CRPS. Yet, upon being violated & neglected then those people are coerced & forced to seek relief from the street so they will get eventually harmed by such risk & hazards. In USA, immorality & outright evil among systemic corruption are killing innocent people.

I get a very happy euphoria effect from Bali Gold. I don’t know if brands strains matter, it’s hard to figure it out. I stopped taking for a while bc I felt like I was tricking myself although I take Rx, the Kratom feels like a spell for 10hrs and it upsets me my body can’t reach that without it. I mostly take it when I have to do well at work for a presentation or an audit, that I have to speak very well and keep stress 0.

If we don't know why it's in our bodies, which is extremely strange seeing as we know everything else, what are the hypotheses to its meaning? I'm confused as to why we would've evolved to develop a useless compound.

I think you are overestimating the level of knowledge regarding even basic cellular functions. To illustrate this, there are hundreds of receptors in the human genome, the function of which remain unknown. With the current knowledge, it remains plausible that DMT is playing some role in some biological function, but I find it hard to believe it would have a significant neuromodulatory effect in the brain. It is possible it is formed as a byproduct of metabolic pathways, with no immediate function. A lot of enzymes that transform and modify compounds are not spesific to a single substance, and there is no reason to expect that every enzymatic transformation creates only important products. I believe a stark reason for why people find it so hard to accept that endogenous DMT would not have some transcendent role in the brain is because of the potency of the altered states it produces when administered in high doses. Nevertheless, I want to emphasize that I'm not against the idea of DMT having a major role. It's just that there's really no solid scientific evidence to support such a role at this time.

Sadly, my nephew died from cirrohocis of his liver at 37 years old on September 14. He was warned that he would die if he continued to use this with alcohol on August 10th. He died and then my nephew's Aunt overdosed on this same drug. This drug needs to be regulated.

It's important to note that kratom has been successfully used to help fight cravings for recovering opioid addicts. For this reason alone drug companies will want The FDA to make it a controlled substance so they can suppress and/or exclusively use it in future pharmaceuticals like they did with marijuana and soon silicided mushrooms. Of the few kn occurrences of death were from people who mixed it with other hard drugs or mitragynine toxicity from homemade extract overdoses. Keep in mind that kratom is the same family as coffee/tea. While caffeine isn't the stimulant in this case, mitragynine acts similarly in that mild doses will give you a perk while higher doses can have the opposite effect. I'm a little dubious as to the anecdotally reported specifc effects of white, green and red kratom, but if you consider that black, green and white tea is also all from the same plant at different times of its maturity, there may be more or less of the mitragynine. Other reports that one helps you to sleep while another is better for focus and the other is a better pain reliever is still anecdotal. It's more likely that all colors express the same effects with slightly varying results depending int eh age of the leaf. Violet is legal now to sell and consume, it is on the FDA watch list for controlled substances. I hate that the added attention for research will likely result in this becoming a scheduled drug and be taken out of circulation like ephedra was back in the '90s.

I take kratom once a twice a week, and it's lovely in that frequency. I don't take much, but it does help with autoimmune issues. Like...REALLY helps. The plant is incredible. We as a society need to educate people. We've also had enough banning of plants (and fungi). It's time to freaking learn to do better and give people choices, the scheduling of things doesn't work and only serves to bolster a larger black market. Addicts still exist, and they'll continue to use too much kratom (or whatever else). Sometimes these people have issues from being abused, or other traumas. So we also need to grow, help health each other, and mature as a western people group. I thoroughly believe a healthy promotion of safe use is much more motivating than a damning smear campaign against misuse. Thank you for the objective and educational video 🥰
