They should have added a female plug so u could use all the batteries if say u had no power u could plug in a fridge my neighbor has the Milwaukee one and it does that I live in Florida and we just got hit by the hurricane and that’s what he was using to keep his fridge running

Have you ever tried anti seize lubricant on the limb bolts instead of the thick paste type grease ?

I do a lot of spoolgun because I do reefer repair. I also do a lot of mild steel and stainless. I have 2 Everlast machines, the 251Si and 255Si. I think the Millermatic makes the most sense for my next move. If I need to do any SMAW I have my Lincoln SA 200 Blackface. Thanks for pointing out the use cases for machines.

Thx Dustin. I am confused here. My understanding is that aluminum should be done using spray transfer not short circuit. The sound should be a hiss not the sound of frying bacon,. Frying bacon sound indicates short circuit. Please inform me if I am wrong. Thx

For aluminum Jon boat welding as a beginner would you recommend a Mig spool gun or tig torch ? I know tig has a lot that goes into it with cup size and tungsten. Mig seems easier set up but I’m just unsure on what’s gonna be better and not burn holes in boats. I’ve got a practice junk boat I’m gonna use and order some aluminum practice kits !

You need a UVC light to deal with the mold and smell. Get yourself a 500 to 1000 watt metal halide or mercury vapor bulb (you may need a separate ballast/transformer). Break the outer glass globe without damaging the small interior quartz bulb. The outer glass bulb is just a UVC filter. Set it up so you can turn it on and off while outside the room. Turn the bulb on and the quartz bulb will produce huge amounts of UVC light, which kills everything, including mold, bacteria, and viruses. A plus is that the UVC light is so strong that it will also create Ozone 6 will sterilize anything that is in a shadow from the light. Leave it on for 30 minutes. DANGER - WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF TO THE UVC LIGHT. It will severely burn you and cause blindness. You can look at it through a glass window because glass filters out the UVC light.

I like my Bauer chainsaw also. It's great for the money. I wanted to buy a bigger one but I do get the job done. When tree branches fall down and cutting out some old bushes. Very handy to have. No gas or cord. And got mine on sale,89. Bucks for a battery and charger with a free tool. Nobody beats Harbor freight tools.

I don't cut much metal except for some metal roofing and I just turn an old blade backwards on my Bauer 6 1/2 circ saw so no need for that saw. But good deal for you.

I just noticed on my dump trailer when I press on the brakes the two yellows lights on the back light up but not the brake (red) lights. The turn signals work as they should. The only way the reds light up is when the lights for the truck are on. My wires are (in order) red, white, black, brown, blue and the middle is yellow

Is it true that for foreign vehicles the white wire is positive and American it is ground. If true would a foreign truck white wire be connecting to a ground American white wire?

Thank you for your explanation on hooking up the wires... My only question, and I might have missed this, are we looking at this diagram from the outside face or from the inside where the wires actually connect?

And here it is, September 2024, and your video is still helping people...lol. I've used my trolling motor all of 3 times and it quit. Getting home we found it full of water. I opened the head, hoping to just pour the water out, but nothing. There is a styrofoam seal the wires run through inside the shaft that keeps water from the upper control housing. I did not know about taking the prop housing apart until I saw the other video of yours showing the disassembly of it. I have sent an email off to Newport so currently awaiting a reply from them, since this unit is only a year old. I'll wait any disassembly until I hear back as I don't want to chance voiding the warranty. I'm sure they might have some specific recommendations for sealants when reassembling. Thanks for the video.

Excellent job explaining what I need to know. I'm tired of using the LED lights and still needing a hand help light. This sounds like the fix. I've got a 17.5 foot Crestliner aluminum boat, and from what I understand just 2 lights will give me all the light I need to boat safely on the lake at night. Thanks very much!!!

Hi Dustin i just bought a 21 foot (dual) pontoon boat with a 2019 F70 on the back with an Outboard EFI tune so I am told it is pushing 85hp. I'm topping out around 18-19mph and ~5100 rpm on the tach not sure how accurate that is. It does not seem to make great deal of difference with two, three or four people onboard or a full 26 gallons of fuel onboard to nearly empty. The F70 is currently propped with a 13 1/2 x 10 1/2 three blade prop which i believe is the stock Yamaha prop. As much as i like the hole shot it would be nice to gain a few mph. What are your thoughts on repropping to gain top end?

idk man, no one who is a serious welder is going to be looking at a multiprocess machine imo. if you want to tig weld, get a tig welder. if you want to mig, get a mig, if you need both, get both. its not millers fault that multiprocess machines are inherently a compromise.

I just bought one from harbor fright tools for 75 dollars. I was scared I was going to lose a limb, but luckily this thing is such good stress relief. Made me look like a bad ass. Problem is the chain came off about an hour into cutting some large shrubs from the root. So I have no clue how to put it back on. Can you help?

Be forwarned I did this and it was a mess. Nothing worked right. After chasing each wire down my red was left blinker right was brown almost nothing the same. Finally got it wired and later saw a video on rv trailer lights looked back and that’s how mines wired. If u try this and it doesn’t work try rv lighting diagram. It can save u a ton of time. My trailer is a 16’ cargo trailer not sure if that means anything.
