Good looking refit, I'll say it, you do sme great work. Back in the days before heat shrink, my dad showed me how to make the same loop for anchors, cover tie downs by feeding the end of the line through the middle of the braided poly line. Geez I'm that old. Thanks for bring back memories.

For aluminum Jon boat welding as a beginner would you recommend a Mig spool gun or tig torch ? I know tig has a lot that goes into it with cup size and tungsten. Mig seems easier set up but I’m just unsure on what’s gonna be better and not burn holes in boats. I’ve got a practice junk boat I’m gonna use and order some aluminum practice kits !
