I really enjoyed my time bowfishing. My friend and boss was the VP of the Texas Bowfishing Association (TBA). He got me into it and I got pretty good. We took first and second place several times. Fishing all night getting lots of gar, carp, buffalo. Great times. I miss it. Your video reminds me of those times so thank you.

That plate idea sounds awesome, I’m toying with the idea of putting a pusher fan on my havoc river rat, the problem would be that I have a tiller handle outboard.

Clamp is just in case you keep your finger on the trigger a little to long.

How many HP of a fan do you recommend for a 2072?

Depends on what you intend to do with it. A 20hp will get you anywhere there's fish. Anything over 30hp will require additional steering help, which greatly increases cost & engineering effort but not exactly get you into much less water. The most user friendly fans are moderately powered & steer easily. The more power = the more you'll have to work on it. Best thing to do is make the hull as lightweight as possible & coating the bottom with a slick coating like froggspit, wetlander, superslick, or gator glide. These graphite epoxys will greatly increase performance on all hulls but of course a flat bottom or slickbottom hull without ribs will see the most benefit.
