love the interior mods, have you thought of adding a newer touch screen radio? I did the pioneer DMH-WT6000NEX on a 2001 chevy silverado 2500hd, mad that after i bought it, they added the luminous bar to it and i was to far out of date to return to get the newer one. but this thing is one hell of an upgrade, it is close with the gear selector but it will clear it np. just have to make some brackets to make it fit.

how to melt down a car to nothing really fast, let's put a big chunk of aluminum plate on the positive right next to fender a half inch .😂 There's better ways to do things people, cleaner ways too.

had the same crimpers,they worked good then broke after 5 uses. but they led's in the vents look killer might have to do that on my silverado once i get the funds.

No, my Tahoe only has rear A/C it’s weird right lol I’m use to my Yukon Slt Had everything digital climate control with rear heat and A\C . My Tahoe is just the base LS with manual climate control and no rear heating

I've been waiting to do this upgrade for years with parts already sitting in my garage. A few other youtubers have guides and the comments section is filled with people with issues. I have HPTuners but i think I will be copying your way due to its simplicity.

Could be a legit question, might not matter. Concerning the LEFT (7 blade engine cooling) and the RIGHT (5 blade A/C fan) positioned while sitting in vehicle, correct color code for each ? My plugs are light brown/Yellow and Blue/Black. I`ve googled the crap out of schematics (2005 silverado) came up with several, none actually giving " as viewed from" I`m hoping to do this installation in the next few weeks, so any help would be appreciated

@@dieseldoctor1983 I will check tomorrow morning for you. You can also try testing the fans on a 12 volt battery so you can see which way both fans suck the air into the engine. There you will see which needs to be positive and negative. You are not using the factory harness or were the plugs just cut?

@@MiGo713 I am using the entire factory set-up supposedly removed from a 2005 silverado. Removed from the vehicle by the salvage yard. nothing cut or missing, just everything disconnected. Yesterday I pulled all the loom off of wiring, traced everything back to the fan plugs and A/C fuse & relay box. discarded all the lighting wiring. After cleaning up the harness, I noticed the black wire with eylet (frame ground) went to one side of fan plug, the other side of same plug is blue and traced it to fan relay box on the underneath side, jumped the two wires for only a few seconds fan blew towards engine ( this was the 7 blade, to left with a** in driver seat) fan went, to my mind, high speed. Really appreciate your time, most folks on here wouldn`t take the time

@@dieseldoctor1983 Sounds like everything is good. On this wiring set up you want to plug the light brown/yellow connection on the Driver side Fan. The blue/black plug on the Passenger side fan to turn On high speed with the A/C and cool the AC Compressor. I made this Channel to help and Inspire others cause I know how it feels I’ve been there. We are always learning and it’s good to help us all grow. Hope this helps out let me know how it turns out good luck and Thanks for watching!!

Looks good bro mines only 2/3 with no free travel mod but still hits the axel but i have 24s on 305/35r24 tires im afraid if i do the free travel mod that my tires will rub the fenders i already cut some of the inner fender liners

Seems like yours is sitting lower than 3” maybe you have more weight back there or the springs are very soft. The 305 tires may be too wide but it also depends on your Rims offset and if you have a Adjustable Panhard bar yo center your rear axle. If it’s rubbing on the Plastic yes you can trim it as long as your not rubbing on any metal parts

@MiGo713 I think they are 24x10 and no it's just the 3 in springs but it only really does it when I got my kids in there but no it's not rubbing im saying the top outside of the tires rubbing being to wide but I might do it to see so I don't bang off of it when I hit big bumps

Looks good. The bolts for the lower control arm go from the inside in case one comes loose it doesn't back out into the wheel causing a lockup. Im all ears though cause I gotta lower mine..so many options, but I like the 3/5 you're doing.

I just did everything that you said but it didn’t work, I lock and unlock my truck and the mirrors don’t fold or unfold, I have pin 85 ground, pin 30 diodes strip facing relay, pin 86 to 12v and pin 87a to Escalade switch I weld the wire to the spot on the dot, two wires coming from the diode one to lock wire on the BCM and the other to unlock wire to the BCM what I’m doing wrong? Thanks hope you can help me.

@@LJimenez0185 Make sure Pin 86 is only getting 12v on Ignition it needs to loose power when the truck is off. Also test to make sure you are getting 12v outputs from your lock/ unlock wires, Hope this helps out!

@ yes everything is working as it should, pin 30 gets ground, 85 gets power from lock or unlock and power goes out of pin 86a when lock or unlock gets power but the mirrors don’t fold or unfold, now the switch works as it should and when I press the switch power comes out of the wire that I solder and the mirrors fold and unfold so it is making contact, I have no idea why is not doing what it is supposed to do, I’ll try tomorrow my battery died and I’ll recharge it and try again tomorrow, thanks I’ll let you know what happened

@@MiGo713 yeah my bad, exactly how you said that’s how I wired them, I don’t know what’s I was looking when I mix the numbers, but yeah pin 85 ground, 30 power when lock and unlock is pressed otherwise is ground, pin 86 to ignition when the truck is on and 86a sends power when lock or unlock is pressed, and as I said the switch works it gets power coming from the wire that I solder into the switch.

@ looks like everything is right then, you want to make sure and test everything on pin 30 with a Multimeter so you can check that power is going through when your pressing the lock or unlock on the truck

ive got a 2004 cateye crew aside from headlights, head unit, and rims its the most stock vehicle ive ever owned. my blend doors for ac in dash keep acting up and ive been avoiding pulling dash apart until i saw lights in ac vents. helll yea man
