NEVER expect to learn trading from delusional influencers on KZbin, all of these fake gurus are just content creators trying to be admired as influencers because they're n@rcisst!c and outright p@thet!c. Learn something very important, in every field in this life, there are people trying to feed off your ignorance. Be cautious in anything you do, this doesn't only apply to trading... NB: You don't pay money to become a retail trader, all the information you need is found on the internet from non-n@rcisst!c traders, who don't worry about being famous or brag about wins by posting screenshot-ed images. That's how you identify a real KZbin teacher, because 'many can teach but few can trade'

Here's a detailed qualitative summarization of the text about categorical trading: Core Concept: - Categorical trading is a strategy based on classifying price action into two main categories: consolidation and direction - The approach works across any timeframe since it adapts to current price action and candle sizes - The strategy was developed through experimentation without outside influence Key Principles: 1. Price Action Categories: - Consolidation: Price is more likely to stay where it has already been - Direction: Price is more likely to move to new areas - All price action exists on a spectrum between these extremes 2. Trading Rules: For Consolidation: - Profit targets placed inside the range - Stop losses placed outside the range - Avoid going long at tops and short at bottoms - Trade within established ranges For Direction: - Target new areas - Stop losses placed inside the range - Trade with the momentum - Avoid trading against the trend 3. Implementation Details: - Uses ATR (Average True Range) to quantify volatility - Recommends starting with 1:1 risk-reward ratio - Suggests adjusting timeframes to achieve desired volatility conditions - Recommends bracket sizes of roughly half the recent candle sizes 4. Trade Management: - Trades should only fail if conditions change (consolidation to direction or vice versa) - Avoid trading when price action is too chaotic or undefined - Don't force trades when conditions aren't ideal - Adapt bracket sizes to match current market conditions 5. Personal Adaptation: - Traders should identify which conditions they trade best in - Not necessary to trade all conditions - can specialize in preferred setups - Different traders may excel in different market conditions - Important to develop personalized implementation of the basic concepts 6. Risk Management: - Establish appropriate max daily loss - Avoid trading during high-impact news events - Don't force trades just to be active - Accept that some days may have no tradeable setups 7. Learning Process: - Record trading sessions for review - Keep detailed trading journal - Document mistakes and lessons learned - Create and maintain a reminder document - Regular review of trading rules and performance 8. Important Tools: - Screen recording software (like OBS) - Trading journal - Reminder document with rules and setups to avoid - ATR indicator - Price interval markers 9. Psychological Aspects: - Discipline in following rules is crucial - Avoid FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) - Accept that not every day needs trades - Focus on long-term results rather than individual trades 10. Common Mistakes to Avoid: - Trading without clear category identification - Forcing trades in unclear conditions - Ignoring documented rules and reminders - Taking trades at daily highs/lows - Trading after high volatility candles - Moving profit targets and stops during trades 11. Development Process: - Requires significant time for experimentation - Need representative data before making conclusions - Should test different timeframes and conditions - Must document and analyze results 12. Practical Application: - Can be used on any market (author prefers futures) - Works across different timeframes - Requires constant adaptation to changing conditions - Benefits from regular review and adjustment of approach The strategy emphasizes simplicity in concept but requires discipline and careful attention to implementation. Success depends on proper categorization of price action, appropriate trade execution, and consistent adherence to established rules while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions.

I trade trends, I would honestly see resistance on the second red candle to the right of that green at 9:40, and shorted it if the 1, 4 and daily confirmed it. Otherwise I would have waited 5, gone long and waited an hour to watch the trend develope

I tried to watch some of these experts on his show, but 80% of it is fluff and doesn't have to deal with actual strategy, or what it took to get there, so I left feeling like I wasted 80% of my time. I started wondering if he was doing it for the minutes of viewtime since every one of them is an hour + and we all want to watch stuff we can learn from. Except I really don't walk away with knowledge from any of his shows.

2:00 "price is dictated by thousands of traders with varying degrees of influence" Sorry to buck the trend (No pun intended) but that is kind of misleading. We retail traders who make up 5% of the 'traders with varying degrees of influence"' Iman is talking about, could simultaneous take the same trade at the same time and it wouldn't move the market one pip in our direction. However a dozen market movers sat in their ivory towers at 'Big Bank HQ' or 'Hedge Fund Manager Central' can decide to short the market and with a flick of their wrists your stop loss is smashed like a hard boiled egg dropped from a Blackpool Tower. I'm not saying they are hunting your stop loss tha'ts just a consequence of their decision to move the market usually by an algorithm.

@@joi4112 at no point did that sentence imply or even specify that I was talking exclusively about retail traders. Hence, “varying degrees of influence”

How would it be possible to get a Trade-Guru to do a lie detector test, with a subsequently release of the results of course. And from a reliable, accepted Institut which conduct the lying test, not with one of gurus choice.

Hey Iman ! I just wonder, everything is quite clear except the size of your bracket compared to the ATR. In the explanations regarding the candle size and bracket, it was 1/2.5 , is it what you use ? 1/2.5 of the ATR from the last candle ?

As someone who used to day trade crypto back in 2017, but stopped, and has recently gotten back in, even I was nearly pulled in by this Craig dude, but all his videos always seemed overly simplistic and repetitive, and like he focused rtoo much on his "tools" without ever actually explaining anything. What really tipped me off to him being a scammer was his "win streaks" and all the comments praising him, without a aingle detractor. Seemed odd. Looked up his name followed by "scam" and boom. Thank you for saving me from duping myself.

i love this video. I agree with everything except I will say not every single youtuber or person out there who is trying to sell you something is disingenuous. As a society we pay for education and I think that's why we see a lot of scams or courses being pushed. Some people may be selling real, useful information, and may even be good at trading but know that people will pay for what they've learned. But yeah I think a good percent of it is a scam or a quick buck targeted towards beginners,, and that you should definitely be cautious. And to your point popularity doesn't equal intelligence. The best traders will most likely be the ones who focus on trading, and don't seek their profits from content creation. Anyway, you've got yourself a subscriber. I started my journey of learning to day trade a couple weeks ago and have watched a few youtubers like yourself that I believe are genuine and know what they are doing, and its cool to see that you and them share a lot of the same perspectives of cutting the bullshit and here's how you really do it. It's really validating and tells me I'm going the right direction. I'm excited to learn more from you, and most importantly START day trading 💪
