does it have to be MAP ? could propane work just as well or would the flame be too spread out ? Also is there a sharper tip to use than the satndard Aslo How do you keep the torch from going out oif you tilt it down ( my propane torch goes out of I tip it down does MAP stay lit better what aimed down ? ? please help because I cut LOT of it with a soldering iron and it still unravels .....
@jwtaipale16 жыл бұрын
My mapp gas torch has a self igniter for doing plumbing repairs. Flame has sharp tip. Doesn't go out when tipped in any position like propane. Can't remember the brand name of torch set. You can get one at any good hardware store. Soldering iron is worthless for this job. I'm on my eighth year using the same pieces of landscape fabric for garlic. The only unraveling comes when weed roots grow through the fabric and I pull it up at the end of the season (when I'm harvesting garlic). I now use landscape fabric staples to anchor it. Doesn't heave in winter, easy to pull up when harvesting. Easy Peasy!

Cool! I'll be doing this exact thing shortly to cut my landscape fabric. Thanks!

Feeling nostalgic, so looked up this tune. Love the video that was once made to go along with the lyrics too, I wish that was available. ❤️

Doesnt matter how old or how long your tractors been sittting idle in a barn the only tolerences that can be effected are jets which are changed during rebuilding also the floats should get replaced ether should not be neccesary in any climate on these farmalls and either your float level or needle and seat need changing and your tractor will start much easier if you turn the gas on before you start it lol my H starts 2 cranks never skips a beat only needs a little choke in winter time but it

I have a backyard operation and could probably build a small elevated hoop house to propagate seeds.. Dan talked about foam inserts between rows to keep the heat in.. I think that would do the trick.. Build an elevated miniature hoop house with a heat source and foam inserts.. A plastic cover and I'll get natural sunlight.. FYI.. Parts H and I don't play..

Thanks for this great info.. I listened to the whole 2013 Soil and Nutrition Conference on Dan's website and I have pages and pages of valuable notes so I can grow superior nutritionally dense food for my family.. The only info I couldn't find was about indoor seed propagation.. I don't have the luxury of a greenhouse and was looking on optimal lighting sources and application indoors..

From the footage I've seen, it can't be 1932. The Boeing 299 wasn't flying until july1935. 1936 maybe???
