Its been some time since this video was posted so I'm hoping to hear a reply! Did you disconnect the battery prior to disconnecting the ECU?

Very nice info that was missing from my tool kit. Unfortunately, the tool was so poorly made the tightening handle fell off at first use and the cuttintg tool had such a mushy edge it simply wrapped the strap around making a big mess. I found I could make a better job using vise grips and regular cutters!!!

Thank you for this video. I helped a person that had spent alot of money with other mechanicd with three fuel pumps. I am not a mechanic. I just bought a switch from salvage with key and this worked. We thank you.

Would you be able to give the measurements for this bushing? It's not available in my country, I'm going to ask them to make it.

I’ve got the euro spec E120 Touring with the 5 speed. That transmission truly is ridiculously nice for what it is, the shifts are so crisp as you say, it’s like shifting a race transmission lmao. Probably gonna replace the bushings soon though, I’ve started to wear them out from downshifting so much lol

Good job, well done! Is it really necessary to use special tool to make the clamp tight? Or should it be possible with 'standard' grap piliers..?

Nice vidéo ! Just receive my 86 f250 from California (i'm in France). I knew there was this issue, and i Just bought a réparation kit. Seems to leak a little from the same spot. Can't wait to repair that ! That's such a great car ! Thanks for the video.

Good verbal instruction, but it was visually hard to see due to shadow covering the tool, lighting was low, and video shot a little too far from the tool.

The new part is only $20 more than a junkyard part, and has a warranty if defective. Why deal with the hassle of used parts? Also, if that's a quick disconnect, why not use the right tools?

What can cause the seal to wear? Is it usually something regarding the axle or trans? Do the inner axle cv joints get loose/worn and cause a pushing down on that seal?
