I've been watching lots of different adv riders and their channels and this was just another one I stumbled upon. I was ready to just skip onto the next channel when all of a sudden I saw your scripture verse at the end. I skipped through to the end of some of your other videos to see if you had other scriptures, and YES YOU DID. You, sir, just rocketed up to my favorite channel. Keep doing what you're doing to the glory of God!!!!

Heck yeah! I hate it that the Monkey and the GROM couldn’t make it all the way, that would have been epic! We had to turn around at about 10,400’ due to the clutch on the B-NANA gave up the ghost. We ended up coasting about 7 miles downhill back to Ouray. Thanks for coming along with our group!

Back in the day , the 70s, all the kids started off on the little Hondas. We didn't call them Monkeys. They were known as a Mini Trail 50 or a Trail 70. The CT 70 sold for around $ 350. They now bring thousands. I am currently restoring a very nice 71 CT 70. You would be amazed at how durable the old Hondas are and even more amazed at where they can go. Send stickers.

Love that area! We rented an AirB&B in Silverton for a week and rode all the trails in the area! Had a blast!! I was on my Africa Twin then. (I have a T7 now.) I even did Black Bear Pass and Poughkeepsie Gulch on the Africa Twin! Hurricane pass is fun. It’s smooth and fast flowing California Pass is very pretty! I rode through there again when I did the Trans America Trail I live in Virginia, so I don’t get out there as much as I would like

Dude!! You keep raising the bar with each video. I love the inclusivity too. Not many bikers out there would’ve been stoked about sharing the trail with a Grom and Monkey, but you were all about it. Your drone footage is second to none and each time I see it, I marvel at God’s creation and make a mental note of the location to hopefully one day see it for myself. Can’t wait for the next video. God bless!

That's why I suffer the extra weight and carry a chain break/rivet tool. The part for compressing the link works better than a channel lock or vise grip. Only one person in the group needs to carry one. I don't like non-rivet master links. I carry a couple, but I carry more rivet links. I carry 520, 525, and 530 (for the '78 Suzuki scambler). Chainsizes are in eigths of an inch. A 520 means it's pitch (distance between pins) is "5" eigths 5/8. The "20" means the thickness of the chain, distance between plates so "2.0" eigths (2/8 or 1/4). A 525 is "5" for pitch and 2.5 eigths, or 2/8 + 1/16 or simply 5/16.

sometimes on master link struggles the 2 pins on master lock have started to push out the backside, making them shorter, (whhich then made you guys shave the sides of the chain plates)...wht i do is take off the master, and tap the pins back into place, so the pins get longer again.

Each manufacturer of chains have different pins sizes for the same size chains. A DID chain, RK Chain all are different, even within the different series of chains such as a standard, a heavy duty, or an O-ring or X-ring chain. It would be a good idea to carry a couple of spares for your chain with you as well as a mini chain press tool to press the side plate on and a chain breaker and a few extra links as well. I was a distributor rep for motorcycle parts and accessories and had spent my career involved in retail store and dealerships.
