When I was a kid, we had every weekend a western on French television. I think that’s why I never get tired of watching you ride your motorcycle through these landscapes. 🙏
@MotoMission.Ай бұрын
Yes. We see places where they filmed westerns quite often. Keep watching. You are gonna like what’s coming.

That was some of the most beautiful scenery on those passes. + Happy lifelong marriage to that couple. + Happy upper 80's to that guy. I don't have the wind in my 60's for that altitude. Great video.

Great video with bitchen views stops, good job my man, when I was 82 I boondocked just out of Silverton as my base camp and for two weeks rode all the mountain passes solo on a KTM 200 smoker, this year @ 83 I wanted to do it again on my new KTM 300 Erzbergroadeo but I was told it rained a lot this year with two Mt pass landslide road closures so I opted out and rode the annual Grand Mesa’s Lands End Rd timed hill climb race up to the 10k elevation, good WFO pitch it sideways fun~~~Go fast take chances, go faster than the crash~~~~~~~~~Braaap! Hats off to everyone on bikes up there. Mamma mia that's high up! And yes, the oldtimers are right-just don't stop (doing what you like). I'm 67, started riding a motorcycle late 2022 and the Ténéré's ODO already shows more than 35'000 km. And i think I wan't stopp until I have to. Booked some trainings with professional Enduro trainers here and there. That helps me a ton! And yes! Congratulations to Zach and Jessica. I think it's a very good start into a marriage, to take the bumpy rides just right in the beginning …

The ride was spectacular! One of your best. Although you can always take the mountain motorcycle tram to the tops of the passes. Way easier! Plus you’re protected from manatees that may be hiding in one of those near by mountain lakes you passed. Always looking out for you and your fellow riders. Only 7 more days to the next adventure! Take care my friend. Got some rocks stuck in my recliner though but I made it. 🤩

how much gear do you pack on your bike for trips like these?
@MotoMission.Ай бұрын
I pack as lite as possible. Depends on the situation. Always a few tools and water and snacks.

What are the odds of running into someone in a tux at 12,000' ? I coasted down Arrista Gulch not realizing what I was doing to my breaks. I stopped for a rest. When I got back on the bike the pedal had nothing. Lucky for me I had cranked the motor. The break came back but it really got my attention when it wasn't there. Do you have a Rockies ride scheduled for the summer of 2025 ?

Well, I'm just curious why you're not writing. You're T7I sai see other riders there on big bikes. You're writing a small one. What's up with that? You wrote your big KT m all over the place last year.I know you can ride a big bike.You're a good writer so what's up with this year
@MotoMission.Ай бұрын
It’s fun to ride the 500. I ride both t7 and 500 for upcoming vids. Which do you like ?
@bking4404Ай бұрын
Well, the T7 looks way better, and it sure sounds a lot better than that 5 100. Plus it's got a little bit more horsepower and we all like that Ride On
