Dan was the MAIN CREATIVE of R*, the main writer of the scripts, the main writer of the radio with Lazlow, the main writer of the internet of GTA 4/5 (have you seen how many pages and text are there? It's absolutely AMAZING! I have not seen more elaborate satire in my life) with Lazlow, the main writer of the tv, the commercials, the dialogue of the NPCs with Lazlow, the main writer of the entire satire with Laz. It's amazing how Dan is referred to as if he was just co-founder or CEO, not to mention that he's been the one with Lazlow who has given character to all of R*'s games. Dan Houser was R*'s biggest creative - before creative than CEO or co-founder. The work done by Dan on each of his games and the passion you see there is more than can be said for Kojima and other overrated creatives - I'd like to see Tarantino do such a mammoth job of writing and directing. Go check out the credits of R*'s games, manuals and recent interviews of Lazlow to know who has done what, please, in one of which he talks about how he and Dan had fun writing all that I mentioned in his flat drinking beers and smoking and emphasizing the great work that there is only on the internet of GTA 4, something that is not written in a day. And now the question about GTA 6: Who will be in charge of doing what Dan and Laz did with all the passion, grace, good vibes and talent in the world, these two individuals being old school people who know very well what they criticize and with their experience and artistic and executive careers? The saddest thing about all this is that you find videos on YT of CEOs or R* people talking about the company and its games as if these people, beyond their office and executive functions, were involved in the games on a creative level, when they are not even going to write the dialogues of the NPCs or the sms that the character receives on the mobile, I mean... who is this guy who takes credit for a real creative like Dan and Laz?

The original's "fog" was for performance reasons.

I think what ruined def is the lack of fog. Back then, the ps2 couldn't handle it so they added a lot of fog. They did the same thing to waw for nazi zombies. So the fog was for performance but it made it look so much cooler. Now that we can run it, they're probably thinking we don't need it anymore.

It seems like the full main story has been written, but theyre currently trying to hire new writers for NPCs and also trailer cinematic artists. So the story will likely be solid, but the NPC dialogue will perhaps feel different.

The only problem I have with no fog that makes me prefer the fog is the fog is great at covering up the edges of the map and makes it *FEEL* bigger.

This is Right cause you can see the example of FIFA Game by EA Now the game is Called FC Because EA dint want ot pay the high Licensing price of that fedration And that's just a Game name if GTA had all cars like BMW, Audi , etc they all will have their own price for licencing and on later stages if both parties came to a disagreement then we would have huge ingame changes that could lead to loss of time and money on the developer side. Basicly its not worth doing.

GTA SA's draw distance disgust me greatly, it interfere with anything and the game fails to load the textures immediately, therefore ruining my tasks and getting me in trouble. Unhealthy draw distance cause nothing but trouble and stress.
