how amazing. if he had one balloon in each hand could he listen in stereo? (not that it matters) but the neural re-wiring is fascinating as is this movie. Just a thought.

Byrds A New Perspective is an album with deep spirit. When I first heard it (too late: in the early 90s), it opens a new world of music for me. And it rotates so often on my Turntable. Till nowadays...

Love your selections John. Although mine are "Byrd Jazz" "Royal Flush" and "Ethiopian Knights". DB has always been my favourite poet intellectual lead trumpet/arranger. Can you do a similar review on Yusef Lateef and we compare notes? Bless you.

In a world so divided music is something that can bring us together and remind us that we aren't that different after all. I think we can find beauty in things that are taken for granted in a disposable world. I have taken old furniture off the street and reclaimed the wood for speaker cabinets and i also go through the dumpster on construction sites and take all the mdf , carpet pad, PVC pipes, and I was given 10 boxes of oak and maple hardwood flooring that I make speaker cabinets out of. I try to make my art out of things that would end up in a landfill.

Huge Sugden fan, I've owned just about all their amps and lines, and DAC over the years. I agree the A21Se is their best sounding Int without question. I have not owned the amps you have here, but the amp you referenced in this video that you had trouble remembering, the FBA-800 Sapphire I do own. I can tell you unequivocally it's their best sounding amp. I have it paired with a Leben preamp and it's a match to die for. Enjoy your MPAs, I hear they are great!

European investment groups are destroying good American companies by sucking the life out of them and dumping the money into the failing European mothership. American workers are being screwed by European Investment groups which ultimately kill the goose laying the golden eggs. Europeans generally suck in business, the UK being the worst and even Germany who lost their world status of being superior engineers and manufacturers to Japan. America is only slightly better at it and only because we value $ more than the more liberal mindset. But in the end, as the more liberal mentally takes hold in the U.S., we too will suck at business just like the EU.

In the story I just experienced, I saw a group of demons, there were 2 husband and wife, like the picture in the book I drew. They had a third eye on their forehead, but it was a black stone. 2 husband and wife and 3 daughters, the first daughter had a face like Ly, in France. (Lys in France in the present, she probably doesn't know anything). That female demon had the same figure as Lys in France, she came to find me in her mind, and they called her in France, but Ly (Lys is in the present) That Ly, she participated in all kinds of things, like bombing, gold trading, gem trading, drug trading, trading all kinds of things. Especially, she really likes to use gems, drinking glasses are also made of gems, spoons are also made of gems, decorative items must also be made of gems. It was Ly in the virtual world, but I could see her vaguely, I could see her during the day, and at night when I closed my eyes, I could see her more clearly than during the day. 200 days with them It's over now, but I can still talk to them, they still talk to me every day. But there are still 2 people, still following me every day. Guess who they are I'll tell you later

Very few music rights owners make you take a vid down, they just won't let you make money on the video. This channel isn't intended to be a profit stream, I don't care about the earning, so I leave it in. I make very close to zero from this channel, but I hope some of the smaller artists I play get a little now and then.

The economy is so good that the middle class in NYC has been wiped out; and a president who committed the ultimate treason of allowing the invasion of his own country--in a way no other country would have allowed--had got to go. Please, the days of hypocritical virtue-signaling have got to stop!

hmm, wonder how the gold layer affects the sonic signature of the concrete. as to “brown”, or any other surface color of people, the content of their character comes into question, if they try to subvert known laws to gain entry into a sovereign country, and not the color of their skin.

John, I really enjoyed & appreciates your thoughts & rants regarding all things music, the folly & glory of humanity &, especially, on the Seiko Chronograph watches of yore. Manufactured fear enhances the visibility & viability of an individual or collective to a level of ridiculous power over society as a whole. Art & reasons will prevail. Keep espousing the virtues, the gifts of life. ✌🏼& 🎼

I was sitting with friends in a neighborhood cafe in Tel Aviv yesterday morning when alarms started screaming all around us. While we were searching for the local shelter, 7-8 Iron Dome missiles rose into the sky to intercept the missiles fired from Lebanon into central Tel Aviv. Everything in life is about proportions. Even the levels of fear. BTW, never seen those ugly concrete trah cans in Israel.

Not everyone wants to listen to facts. ;-) This is the age of attention and baseless story telling and renaissance of artificial separation for the purpose of influence. We seek refuge in audio and your cosy boxes. Soul2Soul has rescued us from the atomic cafe and koyaanisqazi era of fears before, funk and dance, as we got ants in our pants in da funkadelic - Frankfurt/Germany.

The world is complex and folks feel lost and powerless against a changing world that feels less familiar and hospitable. The fear is real and all-consuming. I know because I have family members living in absolute terror of the modern world. The politics of division and fear act like a drug that makes them feel better about their feelings. The worst part is that these folks are cooperating with forces that are working against their self-interests thus making their lives even tougher. We live in an age where the rich call themselves poor and our sympathy goes out to them. Thank you for your video.

I spent 8 years hating on that turd. Since the election I've tuned out: no news, political podcasts, etc. I just listen to music and my mind is calmer than ever. Elections have consequences and no doubt there will be chaos. I choose not to participate in the chaos nor will I feed the troll. These people feed on attention... starve them by looking away and doing good for others. Now, which new vinyl record should I buy?

To expand a bit on this trash can…the Apartheid State from which it came has gone to extraordinary lengths to repurpose and invent infrastructure that produces oppression and instills fear (walls, barricades, check points with remote machine guns….) and now the vast majority of its citizens support their colony‘s perpetration of a genocide. This synthetic collective reality is not valid, it is the same that lead to Jim Crow and the Holocaust, and must be dismantled, not painted gold.
