You are tracing the steps I've been taking this summer! Just left Hamburg after earlier stops in Amsterdam and Berlin (I wrote to you earlier about stopping in Phono Phono - enjoy your time there!) . A quick vinyl recommendation should you find yourself with time in Hamburg: Pure Soul Record Shop. The owner (Thorsten) is a gem, and a real authority on soul recordings. It's just a good old fashioned vinyl shop, with nary a new recording in the place (and a surprising amount of OG jazz). Enjoy your trip, and good luck with your shows! Matthew

Very nice amps and equipment. Heard the system three times yesterday and today in Veldhoven, but these audio note speakers were far from special to my ears. Not spacious and airy, colored and not detailled enough. But then again, half of the speakers/rooms sounded colored and uneven. If a company can’t even produce a speaker with a somewhat flat frequency response in 2024…. With al the tools and measurements available.

@@mfisher702oh yes indeed, I thought they were from audio note. Heard audio note in another room, they were equally bad with very colored sound.
