Maybe, depends on usage but I'll just replace the sticks with Hall effects and I'm good to go without buying a new control 😃

@@HitManJavi02 It does. But you'll need to know which BDM you have since there's a new gen that recently released and there's some kits that aren't compatible since extremerate needs to update them.

@@HitManJavi02 Either one will work. But keep in mind kits for 010 and 040 are different. When you're gonna shop look for the ones saying compatible with 010 or 040 depending on which one you're modding.

@@Lex_i_ Yup, all kits are compatible but please make sure to get the kits/shells that are compatible with your controller. You should do the face clicky first since the led is going to going on top of that one.

@@benjaminstatham1081 Not yet. They said they're working on the kit but it's been some time since then and they've been silent about it so who knows when it'll release. They also said they working on a 4 back button kit for the DS Edge. We'll just have to wait for one of their announcements.

Can you please respond to this message would be very much appreciated. This is about eXtremeRate Face Clicky Kit V2 for ps5 Controller BDM-010 & BDM-020, Custom Tactile Dpad Action Buttons for PS5 Controller. I wanted to order these too. However there are various negative reviews saying that the rubber under the mechanical buttons wear out within 3 to 5 months. So you have to open the controller back and and replace them. Do you have any idea of these issues? . Or heard about them change the system at all? As I really do want these ASAP. But I can't pay someone to replace the rubber for me every time they fail. Or can you recommend better ones for the ps5 dual sense controller Please? . Many thanks

Unfortunately I don't as I don't have a good setup for being able to record while soldering new sticks/potentiometers. I recently replaced 2 sticks for the new gulikit electromagnetic sticks and the results are great so far! You're able to calibrate your drift with those.

@@TheTone2244 could be like a minute? Never timed it but maybe 1-2 mins. Depends how well you're providing heat to the touchpad and how much heat. Can't be too hot either. Just apply enough throughout the whole touchpad then try to lift it. If it's not lifting apply more heat until the board starts to lift up with ease. Take the board out with the glue so keep an eye on it

😆 one day when you're feeling brave enough go for it! With enough heat the board should lift up easily. I recommend thin plastic tools and that aren't sharp.

@@Justafartu Awesome! If it's not lifting up, don't rush it. Apply more heat and try lifting up again. Make sure it comes off with the glue on the board

idk if you're still responding, but on voice chats via discord, my mic will cut out the end of the sentence. not sure what to do or how to trouble shoot, tips would be great. i turned off noise suppression and it fixed the issue but i need noise suppression on. Any other alternative software for noise suppression?

Nice video! I'm thinking of modding my controllers with this but I was thinking some things. What will happen if I play games like Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart or Returnal? These games have the L2 and R2 function different if pressed fully or just half. Does this affect it?
