Thanks for the great detailed reviews as always, been watching a lot of your reviews and it's helping me a lot. I am deciding between gravity tour 98 and the t-fight 305s. I am a little worried that the launch angle of the gravity tour 98 might be too high as I see that the strings are even more open towards the upper part of the frame, and also based on the play test videos the ball launches extremely high and thus perhaps less directional control. Which is your racket of choice, and why? In terms of feel and control which one is more traditional? Thank you!!

I discovered a strange thing with the Babolat grips. On the Pure Drive and Pure Aero they come with Syntec Pro but on the Pure Strikes they come with the thinner grip Syntec Team. So If you get a Pure Strike with grip 3 and a Pure Drive with the same gripsize. Then they wont feel the same or do Babolat make thicker pallets for the Pure Strike to compensate for the thinner grip?

If you had to choose between the stock Ezone 100 and the stock PD 100 for match play, which would you choose? Same for the Ezone 98 and PD 98? Best, John

I wanted your suggestion on the best Solinco poly string set up for someone who puts a premium on pocketing and feel and still wants good spin and control. I am currently playing exclusively doubles with a Babolat Pure Aero - so a set-up that compliments that racquet string pattern and stiffness would be ideal. I am not opposed to using thinner gauge polys or poly hybrids to get the desired playability. I tend to like to play at lower tensions to open up the sweetspot and increase ball feel. I am currently bouncing back and forth between a full bed of Tour Bite Soft 18; Hyper-G 19; and Hyper-G soft 17 - all strung at 40 lbs. Is there another string or hybrid you think I should try? What would you personally recommend?

Hii tan, im currently using wilson pro staff X and someone offered me wilson blade 98 v8, what do you think tan?

Great review. I am one of those who had major elbow pain from the ezone v7 98 although I liked the way it played. I think this one plays more stable and less hollow / harsh feeling. I wouldn’t call it very flexible but it feels comfortable to me. A good comparison would be the change in feel from the aero vs to the aero 98. Similar improvement. I was impressed with the control, stability and quick maneuverability of the frame. The sweet spot also felt very large to me. I was really impressed and thought it played a lot more consistent and better than the gravity 98 (at least for my game).

Any insights on how it compares to the TF40? (Other than paint job)?

Great review as usual! I’d love to see you review the new 315 as well…that was my favorite one of the last generation because it still has some good plow though due to the weight and more spin than the 305 due to the 16x19 string pattern and good maneuverability with the 325ish swing weight. Btw the video of you guys playing indoors looks great - maybe it’s just the sound you get from hitting indoors but the power and spin of your shots is a lot more noticeable indoors!

Damn, I'm a bit disappointed that you don't like the 300 100. I'm using the previous 300 (98), I love the feel, but I wish it had a bit more forgiveness. Maybe some lead tape on the 100. Or I'll just drop the tension on mine... Anyway, always appreciate your reviews!
