D, between you and Derek, I get so many flashbacks to times with my Dad and Grandfather when I was a kid. This is the good stuff. Thank you for this.

Dan from DD talks about this 57 . I see a kit car . Everything is a kit . As a kid at 16 in votech I bought a 55 2 dr hdtp , a motor , trans , rear and front seats from a rolled 69 z28 and a front axle from a 56 truck . Took it to votech and built my car , I ended up using the camaro master cylinder also . Cut the wheel wells out . Put 15 x 12 and n50 x15 on the back and f 78 15 on 7 inch on the front , cragars . No kits ! It was 1978 I still own and drive this car . Still runs the 302 with cross ram . I appreciate your work but wish you guys would get away from kits .

Blue engine tells me its a 75-80 350. original could have been a 327 or big block like a 366 or 396.

Can't believe you're going with a SB and a 5spd... Car that original I would go with the original 6 and the 3 on the tree that is in it.

Always funny to see 4 cylinder VW's and Honda's blowing American cars away. My summer daily driver Mercedes runs low 13's in the quarter mile.

I would love those big wheels on the Impala if they're not chrome, but that's just my personal opinion. I'm always more into Pro Touring (if that's the right words) kind of cars.

Cut a piece of sheet metal the same shape as the back fender then slept it in and up and cremp the fender over the piece you cut should do the trick 👍
@larryperdue50810 күн бұрын
Just a heads up the back bumper was actually designed for the tail pipes to pass through the lower far corners from the factory as a add on for the hot 🔥 rodder and again the motor looks awesome 👌
@larryperdue50810 күн бұрын
You can get a kit that your power brakes gets its power from the power steering pump and it has plenty pump pressure to run them both with out any problems and the motor looks great 👍 👌
