I always appreciated and enjoyed Faster with Finnegan, especially with Cotten and Newbern on. When it changed to ONLY Faster with Newbern and Cotten, I was slightly skeptical. I was wrong to be skeptical. It's really great.

Check out Detroit Steel Wheel Co. They have old school steelies in 18" sizes Their D-Town Smoothies or John R wheel would probably look good on the 57. They also have dog dishes to go with their wheels.

Hey David, I wish I was 30 years younger. I would have loved to hang with you and your friends to build some of the rides you have. I loved working on cars since I was 15, when I bought my first car and pushed it home. A 2 door 1964 Pontiac Catalina 389. I was hooked then on. I lived in the day of all the sweet muscle cars that you could buy dirt cheap. I bought my 70 AAR Cuda body with no drive train, you're not going to believe this, for $10.00 with the original fiberglass hood. Within a week I had the 383 motor and transmission out of a 66 Chrysler 300 a friend of my dad gave me in the Cuda. All I did was put a cam and headers on it and a 410 pig in the rear end and it was probably the fastest car I ever owned. By the time I was 18, I probably went through 50 cars by buying them broken one way or the other and flipping them. The good old days. Anyway, make sure to let Dan from DD Speed shop know when you're selling all the tri five parts. Knowing him, he'll probably buy all of it. Love your channel and videos. Take care and be safe.

You were right about the wheels. They look ridiculous on that car. Those chrome reversed wheels are tons better looking. Other than what you had on the car, there’s only two other legit options- Cragar S/S or the old centerline spun aluminum.

1:41 obviously I haven’t watched the episode yet I just started it I feel you on the steel wheels. Why don’t you go with the larger set of replica steel wheels get them in like a 17” i’m in the process of putting back together my 86 Chevy square body and I plan on putting a set of 17 or 18 on it to fill in the wheel wells. I was thinking steel wheel, small chrome center hubcap, undecided on whether or not, I want to put beauty rings and throw a set of white walls or red lines on it.
