I wish we didn't have to run so many main deck bricks now, but it really feels like this deck wasn't hurt that much by the banlist. 50 cards seems like the sweet spot with all 4 engines competing for space. I'm still trying to unlearn the old lines(md cope), but this guide gives me hope that there's still some innovation to be made. Previously, i was on fenrir+small world/141, and that was cracked(even teched ingunar to make it work with unexpected dai), but now our zones are so clogged that theres no room for tech that can't be used towards the end of the combo. There's gotta be some altered sequencing to squeeze more out though. This deck is far from fully explored. 🔥

I've really delved into actually building and testing a deck myself instead of netdecking with minor tweaks and I've built Raika Aroma Sunavalon "Plant Link". Excited to see how far off the mark I am with my combos LOL. EDIT: I think I have been (severely) underestimating the power of SS just Laurel off jasmine tribute instead of rosalina + laurel. I feel pretty good about my deck after watching the video but I still learned quite a bit, excellent video as always!

Was completely burnt out a few weeks ago. I couldn't find actual good lines and couldn't fix the ratios properly. 9:05 i like angelica for going second since its a life gain and an extender and it cuts bricks that u cant afford to see, that plus siding into sylvan princessprite when u cut blend+winds since youll b using dance to summon much more when going second and are almost guaranteed to always have a lv1 in grave if ur playing the game. and it can help u draw into a talents/thrust etc. just my 2 cents, obv against some deck u can afford to play more engine but against yubel/snake-eyes rn i feel that we cant rlly afford to see bricks so i side into more engine over the bricks and angelica is still rlly good

I have a bit of a stripped down main deck version that puts the deck at 49 cards but makes it way more capable of playing through hand traps in my experience but seeing as how you're a much higher experienced player it would be awesome to get your thoughts. Hi Jess, what do you think about the naturia bamboo combo? It's basically the same as the cactus bouncer line, but you special summon naturia camelia with snowdrop, use camelia effect to send sacred tree and search bamboo, then use snowdrop targetting camelia and make evrything level 4, then normal summon bamboo tributing camelia and go into strenna with snowdrop and aromage jasmine. You could further extend and recicle a copy of jasmine with strenna, re-summon back jasmine and protect bamboo to not be destroyed by battle. You need to play some bricks (3 naturia cards and armage jasmine), but i think that this would be a much stronger board (basically ftk 99% of the times) than the common loci line, especially against decks that play a lot of boardbreakers or a lot of spells in general (like branded / labrynth / yubel). Also this combo gives you a lot of followup, since you don't use mudan or konkon, and you can add them during your opponent's turn using humid winds + jasmine. Also you have one of your xyz monsters still available for the next turn.

What about the new quick spell blink out instead of crossout are in tandem with. You can dodge targeting on dryas and then make a second search of sowing. And for go second, it carry card like apolousa

Although Blink Out is interesting, I think the general utility of Crossout is better. Sure, it can protect Dryas, but it doesn't prevent Ash, nor does it work with non-links or even Nibiru. I think losing that isnt worth the small combo.

Very nice video i learned a lot from. I got a question tho. In the part where you played against drol. Since in a normal duel you wouldnt know they have drol, would you stil run the same line with normal petal? My thought process is id like to search with petal and get the princess, and if the opponent then drols i would have to use princess in hand but that still gives me full loci combo. But i probably wouldnt just normal summon petal right away because imperm is much more common than drol no? Or just use this play anyway because it also protects vs nib as long as i keep petal on board and princess in hand? TLDR: Would you always normal summon petal after using dai, when you draw petal and then search princess?

i really think that u have a better line with just ns locci. Do the regular sunavalon thing, when u first tribute with jasmine ss lonefire from deck. then lonefire for laurel. Search lily and princess. Do the therion line rosemary search blend ss regulus. at this point ss princess link the jasmine on field and princess for a melias, melias reborn back seed in the right zone that rosemary points to. twin in gy banish melias for jasmine (summon this in the left zone posible). Then blend discard x card humid search rosalina, then eff to gain 500, cl1 jasmine cl2 rosemary to ss rosa from hand.. Search snowdrop and in a new chain rosalina ss laurel from deck. Link rosemary and the monster underneath her for dance. manipulate lvls from strenna, strenna recycle back loonefire. snowdrop tribute strenna summoning lonefire from hand. Then lonefire for petal, petal search mudan, mudan ss search konkon and u have full setup without wasting blend in gy for follow and also have a third hasmine in extra.

The 2 most popular targets for super poly are Garura and Muddragon. Garura requires 2 monsters with different names but the same type and attribute, and Muddragon requires 2 monsters with the same attribute but different types. Since the only 2 cards that meet either of these requirements are Beng and Jasmine (both Light Plants) they are the only cards that are valid targets for those main 2 monsters. There are ways the opponent can play around this by summoning a monster themselves and using superpoly but they have to waste a summon or extender which you probably beat with the rest of your board.
