If you thought that was bad, you should watch a video called “My Experience with Chris Stuckmann…I Have To Talk About This” it’s from a KZbin channel called Fury Of The Film Fan who knew Chris personally that worked in the industry with him Jeremy, Flick Pick, ect and exposes the fact that his online persona is not really who he is These are some of the sentences from the Fury Of The Film Fan said on video of Chris Stuckmann “People were working with Chris and they were having problems with him, and they would come to me with these problems because they thought we were friends” they were like “you have to do something about it” I said I am not getting involved if you’re having that problem you need to talk to him. Like Jeremy Jahns felt like Chris was copying his edit style. At one point he wrote a letter to a fellow movie critic complaining that she was showing too much cleavage and that she was using her sex appeal for views and that she wasn’t a real movie critic. She is still having issues with that till this day with what he did, which was 13 years ago. I finally decided to confront Stuckmann after an individual had come to our group crying one evening because he was upset with what Stuckmann had done, now he already affected the female subscriber, she didn’t even want to make movie reviews anymore, now this kid is coming in crying and I said “ alright enough is enough this guy is destroying dreams while trying to build up his it’s got to stop” so I tried to reach out to him and I kept getting ignored I told him listen we gotta talk there’s a lot of people who have concerns. I finally reached out to him after I made a lot of complaints online because I understood that Chris only cared about his online persona because he had this goal of being this online presence so messing with his online persona is a big no no. So Chris finally stepped up started talking to me and it was then that he shared with me why he ghosted us, because we were quote on quote a bad influence on him, because the advice we were giving him was bad for him, even though he would later take that advice and apply it, we were ghosted because the advice we gave him was unwarranted. Advice in deciding to remain a Jehovah’s Witness at the time I had told him one evening at a White Castle we hung out at after we saw a movie and I told him “Do not let others tell you how to be happy, if you’re staying in the religion because of your friends because you’re scared to lose your friends, then they are not your friends because real friends are gonna be there for you no matter what and you need to be free of that religion then if you’re gonna be happy” I said okay whatever look “ we still got an issue with everyone else complaining about you” he didn’t care. I asked him to reach out and apologize to them he tried apologizing to two of them, but his apologies were very disingenuous, when you say “I’m sorry you feel that way” you’re gaslighting that’s not an apology you’re not understanding what I’m feeling here you’re just trying to keep it moving For example, that’s one of the reasons Flick Pick hasn’t been on Chris’s channel in 8 years. After watching that video, I can never look at them the same way ever again. If you watch that video, you will never look at him the same way ever again.

The idea that a man who chooses to barely be involved in his child’s life so he can regularly do drugs, engage in degenerate sex acts with random girls he meets on the internet and let his ex wife regularly have sex with other men while married to him, is going to make the statement that a guy like the man who was murdered at the Trump rally is the “worst America has to offer” is so incredibly rich. The firefighter who risks his life for strangers on a regular basis, who would save Destiny without hesitation, is the worst America has to offer, and in turn, Destiny is the true standard of real American values and ideals. My god this dude is vile.

I get Destiny saying it about Ashley Babbit (Though I don't think her death was necessary) she was warned and in a dangerous situation so you expect consequences, but to say that about Corey Comperatore is really disgusting. Destiny goes on about playing stupid games, but what game was Comperatore playing? Going to see a politician? Was there a precedent set in which this was the risk? You're making fun of a dude that's gone because of your TDS, and I would agree with these guys if there WAS a joke, if I didn't think he was serious. The second segment when he's talking about how it's a swing state and there's one less supporter that's more of a joke (a bad joke but a joke none the less) than when he initially said it, that being said I don't think he should've been banned from any platform for speaking his mind there are way worse things that people have done RECENTLY on ytube yet they're still on the platform like crypto pump and dump scams and lying about cancer to garner sympathy and get more money if anyone should be banned it should be awful people like that.

I like Critical Drinker and I like Chris Stuckmann. We’re allowed variety in who we listen to. Maybe don’t tear down other successful KZbinrs and focus on your own success.

Thats like a rapper saying he's going to stop rhyming but still do rap songs. A cop that is going to stop arresting people but still be a cop. I could keep going but I think you get the point. I watched other people coverage before watching the show thinking they were playing up the emptiness and I might as well not have sat down and wasted hours because those summaries were ALL there were to the show. I don't know how people are watching this, the only way I could think this was interesting enough to be a "Guilty Pleasure" if I were heavily drugged and heavily distracted while doing so. There's no subtly, no depth to this show what so ever but the coverage has been enormous yet all the people I like are talking about this because it's hot for the algorithm.This show is the epitome of slop and wouldn't even be in the top two if they were doing a best of the worst that includes it. Idk what's going on in their heads.

The entire time listening to (both) of their videos, their commentary is very negative on almost everything other than the most superficial - and then end up calling it as a whole 'mediocre'. That is not what I heard from them at all. They strike me as burned out, apathetic, and criticizing folks for being what they used to be: proper critics. They lived long enough to not only see every franchise they love be ruined, but also for them to become the very thing they used to rail against - apathetic consumers of slop. Pathetic and sad.

I watch everything they put out, have done so for many years. Bought their DVDs back in the day, got Spacecop, etc. They do quality *other* content. But this was not it. Label does not match Description, so to speak. Seems low effort, burnt out, and out of touch tbqh.

They seem to only be doing it because of obligation and because of the clicks. Honestly at this point they sound bring in someone who is fan and passionate. It would be an interesting contrast.

Whenever they've covered something pop culture-y, I never feel like it's the same half-assed copy and paste content, like a Critical Drinker or someone similar. If they didn't overtly like it, they will focus on some interesting context surrounding the work, like they did with Acolyte. Otherwise, they just cover movies they like. But in both cases, the videos are well researched, edited, and at least thoughtful. Plus, they haven't taken a cent of advertising money in their entire existence. Do I agree with them on everything? No, but I do think they have maintained intellectual honesty throughout, and apologize when they miss the mark.
