I want to install Hive Receiver but I have only 3 wire (L , N, Earth) in my current Honeywell Round thermostat in my combi boiler, how I can wire HIVE receiver with only 3 wire , I need to bridge live with 1 ,2,3, 4

Cant see it so can’t say for sure. But chances are they used the earth as a switch and bridged live and 1. But… and a big but… i can’t see it so i dont know. If in doubt get a sparky in

@petegasguy hie i did manage to fix it. The had increased the pressure to 3 so had to decrease by opening one of the taps with a radiator key and i just resetted it the error was gone.

Are there any external filters that you recommend installing on the incoming water inlet pipe to prevent the heat exchanger plate from clogging up the domestic hot water side? I have a Bosch 151P combo boiler with a Rinnai scale cutter installed on the inlet pipe and it’s still problematic. Do you think a sediment filter or something else would help? Bosch Customer service is useless, and the contractor that came to my house was not knowledgable.

I cannot override the temperature. I set the times and temperature but even when I press off, the rads are still coming on. I have checked the videos to make sure I am doing everything I should, but it's still misbehaving. It is a new control as the old one has been dropped too many times. The old one works, so no idea why the new one is not doing what it's supposed to do.

It's battery not wired. I have sorted the old one but cannot understand why the new one is not doing what it's supposed to 😢 I press off but the rads are still coming on 😡

The unit is wireless - but there’s a receiver wired to the boiler.

Great YT, thank you! Desperately need the promised follow-up videos. A "plumber" replaced our faulty Motorised Valve Head; but, neither Hot Water nor Heating worked afterwards. Then the MVH & 3-port valve was replaced as a unit. This could only make the Hot Water work; but, not on the desired settings from the programmer, and no combination of settings would bring the Heating on. Both 3-port valves are/were in perfect working order, and I think it unlikely that 2 brand new MVHs would be faulty. Therefore, I would love to see the correct wiring of the MVH into the junction box for the programmer, demand valve, tank thermostat, etc., please.

I wish i had the time at the minute. But, honeywell do lots of wiring diagrams which are fairly easy to follow. Essentially, when there is a demand for heat 240v will be sent down the orange wire of the 3 port and this will then power the pump and should kick the boiler in.
