I just had a knee mri and it wasn’t bad, I already had an mri before so I knew what to expect but I did have to have in iv in which wasn’t pleasant. I wouldn’t say it’s not bad at all but it’s not the end of the world. 👍 if this helped 😂

I had an MRI on my brain because I kept passing out every time I had headphones on the neurologist technician let me choose a genre of music to listen to for my MRI scan so I can block out the sound of the machine and then they put the contrast in my arm and I just laid on the bed didn't feel anything And I had an EEG afterwards to do tests on my brain from keeping my passing out and I got my results and I came out negative so my neurologist said to drink a lot of water and if I get lightheaded then just stretch out on my bed

Intel never made an i686. It stopped at 486. Then it went to Pentium, Pentium II, and Pentium III. I worked at Intel during the 1980's and did CPU, firmware, and systems design.

I just recently had to be scanned by one of these machines, I was fortunate that I did not have a brain 🧠 concussion, but it did find that my nose was fractured, and that I needed 8 stitches above my eye 👁 ( that was obvious ) this is my third time being put inside these machines, the first two times did indicate brain 🧠 concussions that nearly killed me. All I can say is that most of the time I wear a helmet ⛑ when I ride my bike 🚲, but when I don’, I pay the price for it. Damn my luck!

@chaspfrank2 күн бұрын
Never mind the balance! How do they power all of the components? How do they transmit all of the data? And how do the design all of the components to take the g-forces which must be induced into everything???
@AlexBesogonovКүн бұрын
Slip rings for power, data can be transmitted either wirelessly in some models or via even more slip rings.

For a 3,000lb assembly loaded with complex high-voltage imaging tubes that contain internal anodes rotating between 3,000-10,000rpm, and all of the associated driving components and electronics, rotating all of that at 300rpm with everything perfectly balanced is quite an achievement. I can imagine that complex inertial and gyroscopic forces have to be synchronized on top of everything being in perfect balance for this machine to function. Impressive.

Why don’t they just say 300 revolutions per minute instead of five revolutions per second? That sounds very dramatic.
